On what level you unlock the Yule log? -
Anyone know the amounts of each item you need to cook to unlock the next page of items? I've heard 40 soups in a row will do it... but I don't have that kind of patience for trying it!

Hello fellow restauranteurs! Restaurant City has been updated with new items and limited dishes! As the frozen wind howls outside , inside your restaurant you are toasty warm, despite having dewcorated your restaurant with the icy cold theme of the week. Let all your customers stare up at the Northern Lights and dream of an arctic adventure. Before I start on showing you all those new items for this week, I also want to make sure you are aware of the 25% off sale in the ingredients market when purchasing ingredients using Playfish Cash. This is definetely the time to stock up on those ingredients, and a perfect time to get those ingredients you need for those missing Limited Time dishes! This week there are 3 new limited dishes for you to unlock! These dishes are perfect for this time of the year with the Santa´s Hat of Treats for starter, the Snowman for Dessert and the very festive Gingerbread Milkshake as a new option for the thirsty customers. It all sounds very yummy anyway! You can unlock all these dishes until Midnight January 5th. If you have not unlocked the dishes before that time, the dishes will disappear from your menu, so you need to hurry and collect those ingredients. Once you have unlocked any of the three dishes, you can upgrade them to a level higher than level 1 at any time. You can upgrade them also after the limited time period, but you need to remember to learn the dish you want to keep in your menu. If you haven´t learned the dishes (got them to at least level 1) before the period is over, they will disappear from your menu, however you may be able to buy these recipes in future. For the outside of your restaurant your week you can start on the icy cold theme, you can find a Penguin statue to place in front of your restaurant, and even an igloo roof! Give your restaurant the icy cold treatment and go all out with the new theme, make sure you check out the animated Candy Cane Lamp. Go all out with the icy theme for the inside of your restaurant, with the Ice Table and Chair as well as the fantastically carved Ice Sculpture. But let´s not forget what time of year it is, so check out the 3 new functional items the Reindeer, Red Bed and the Santa Statue. The Reindeer item will add 2 points to the max popularity, but remember that it can only do that once, no matter how many Reindeers you put in your restaurant. While the Santa Statue will make all your customers wear the very festive clothing that is santa and elf costumes, the Red Bed will allow one of your staff to rest 25% quicker. And finally, you will notice when logging into Restaurant City between December 25th and December 31st that you will receive a gift from all of us here at Playfish. A Giant Snow Globe! Ive quickly become a fan of this game and play it quite often. Just wondering how many other people out there like this game? What level are you on? How many maps have you unlocked? Gingerbread, Gingerbread, Gingerbread all the way… By mejlis Hello fellow restauranteurs! Restaurant City has been updated with new items and limited dishes! The Gingerbread theme is definetely continuing this week with an array of new Gingerbread itesm for the inside of your restaurant! Gingerbread theme not for you? Then check out the new items for the Garden area and the icy inspired items for the outside of your restaurant. Garden area – flowers and musrooms! Gingerbread theme is definetely what to go for for the inside, but not forget the animated candy pole or the amazing decorative presents to get your restaurant in the full party atmospehere. Make sure you do not miss the Gingerbread Bed which will make your staff rest twice as fast, or the Gingerbread Toilet which will work twice as fast! Both these items are only available until January 4th 2010. For the outside of your restaurant you can now go for the Icy Look with the Icy Crystal, the Snowy Roof and the Snowy Tree! And finally, 3 new limited dishes for the holidays. The Festive Turkey for main course, the Yule Log for Dessert and the Festive Hot Chocolate as a new drink option is sure to please your cstomers this holiday season, what more can they ask for? You can unlock all these dishes until Midnight January 5th. If you have not unlocked the dishes before that time, the dishes will disappear from your menu, so you need to hurry and collect those ingredients. A reindeer´s favourite By mejlis Hello fellow restauranteurs! Restaurant City has been updated with an array of new items and new limited dishes! The Holiday magic is continuing this week with new items for the holidays as well as the new stove and fridge inspired by the up-coming holiday season. Will you be going for a gingerbread theme this week or a candy theme, or will you even be able to fit in your Large Festive tree? The Festive Stove will cook food 10% faster while the Festive Fridge will allow your waiters to serve drinks 10% faster, both these items are only available until January 4th 2010. For the outside of your restaurant we have Gingerbread windows and doors, as well as Bubblegum, Winegum and of course the Green and White Holly. This will ensure your whole restaurants gets into the holiday spirit. For the inside of your restaurant, you can continue the gingerbread or candy theme with the gingerbread walls and the candy chairs and tables, but let´s not forget the decorative Festive Tree and Presents! Make sure you check out the 3 new limited dishes, mmm, I´d definetely eat at a restaurant that served any of these dishes! This week there is one starter, the Reindeer´s Favourite, made up of only carrots of course! I am not sure if I would eat a Gingerbread House for main course, but it is surely yummi! For dessert, you can now serve the Festive Pudding which I am sure will go down a treat with your customers. You can unlock all these dishes until Midnight January 5th. If you have not unlocked the dishes before that time, the dishes will disappear from your menu, so you need to hurry and collect those ingredients. Let the festivities begin! By mejlis Hello fellow restauranteurs! Restaurant City has been updated with an array of new items , new limited dishes and an abundance of new features! It´s the time for the Holiday magic to start early this year, let it spread throughout your restaurant and surroundings. What can be more appropriate for Holiday decorations than a Restaurant centered on snow! It is definitely time for the red, green and white theme with Snowy Floors, Snowmen, Chairs and tables covered with snow and let´s not forget the pine trees or that Santa Statue! What will your holiday restaurant look like? We have decided to give you your Holiday present early this year, so make sure you read the whole blog post, I think you will be surprised! Frosty The Snowman is a functional item that creates snowy footprints for your customers, make sure you create the perfect Holiday atmosphere for the inside of your restaurant. And this week when you enter your restaurant I am sure that you will have noticed the large For Sale sign! You can now expand your restaurant by buying outdoor space! I am not sure if December is the month for alfresco dining, but I am sure you are able to create a warm and cozy outdoor area for the holidays! How much outdoor space you can buy depends on the level you are on, the higher the level, the more outdoor space you can buy. We also of course have added some greenery for you to use with your new outdoor space. Note that floor tiles can currently not be used in the outdoor space, but we will add this functionality in a later update. Remember also that outdoor items can only be used outdoors and not inside your restaurant. You can also this week find two new Arcade Machines, to purchase. The Crazy Planets Pinball Machine will let you earn 1 coin for each time one of your customers use it. And then there is the Deep Sea Arcade, this will also let you earn 1 coin for each use, but you can also play on it! SImply click on it and then click “play”. You control the fish by using your mouse. Holding in the left mouse button = fish floats upwards. Letting go of the mousebutton = fish floats downwards. You can view your friends high scores by playing on the machine in their restaurant. To complement your Holiday themed restaurant, there are also four new limited dishes! Latkas for Starter, Festive Glazed Ham for Main Course, Mince Pie for Dessert and finally the new Eggnog Drink. We have also introduced new ingredients to the game, Raisins and Orange, so you will need to go and do some ingredient hunting before the time runs out. Good Luck! You can unlock all these dishes until Midnight January 5th. If you have not unlocked the dishes before that time, the dishes will disappear from your menu, so you need to hurry and collect those ingredients. Once you have unlocked any of the four dishes, you can upgrade them to a level higher than level 1 at any time. You can upgrade them also after the limited time period, but you need to remember to learn the dish you want to keep in your menu. If you haven´t learned the dishes (got them to at least level 1) before the period is over, they will disappear from your menu, however you may be able to buy these recipes in future. As if we have not been generous enough in the countdown to the holidays, we have added more levels! Whereas before, the maximum level was 32, the new maximum level is level 65! Imagine that, 33 more levels to conquer! As you level up you can now buy items exclusive to those who have reached that level. And finally – make sure you are on the lookout for the Gourmet King. You can find the Food King in your friends restaurants out in the street. He may even be sitting at a table, sampling one of the dishes. When you click on him, he will allow you to post a feed to your wall. This feed can contain ingredients or exclusive dishes. If you find him, you will not get a reward yourself. You must post the feed to your wall in order to give the reward of your choice to your friends. For you to get any dishes or ingredients from the Gourmet King, your friends must find him and post to their wall. You then need to follow the link in the feed from your friends. I just have A Clock and a Jack o lantern for halloween, Nothing for Waterpark and Easter and Clothes for Wardrobw taht will be when I Unlock the next room, cause still thinking which Wallpaper and floor for the Wardrobe. -

2 new limited dishes hava been addes: the roast turkey! a very thanksgiving themed- dish! plus new drink: pilgrim's harvest! i want to unlock them!!! and what about the new autumn items?? i love them!!

Hey Restaurant owners! Some brand new features have just been added to the game! Ever felt like your waiter was taking too long to clear empty plates, or your janitor was taking too long to clean the toilets or fix your arcades or slot machines? Well now you can help! If you see a plate that needs clearing, and overflowing toilet, or a broken functional item, simply click it to clear or fix it! You can now do tasks when visiting friends’ restaurants! Completion of a task will earn you coins! So be on the lookout for sleeping bears, skunks, and other interesting things in your friends’ restaurants! You can also now help your friends water their plants in their gardens! If you see one of their plots looking a bit dry simply click it to water it! You also earn a coin for watering a friend’s dry plot! New trophies have just been added for cleaning toilets, fixing functional items (i.e. arcades or slot machines), completing tasks when visiting friends and clearing plates! So if you thought your trophy cabinet was getting full, now there’s much more to strive for! All these new features, and not enough game area to play on? Well you can now play Restaurant City in fullscreen mode! You will find the full screen icon just above the save button! To exit fullscreen, simply hit Escape or select the button above the save button again! If you are trying to get onto Gourmet Street, you will need to have 50 ratings, as well as having a high rating! So you know just how close you are, you can now discover how many ratings you have received (as well as your average rating) when hovering your cursor over your rating stars! There’s also been a few changes to the levels at which plots are awarded, if you are a low level this could help you! The first plot is now unlocked at level 6! We hope you enjoy these updates!
