  1. Just browsing on my lappy & check this out from March last year. Wouldn't say no to this at the weekend eh?
  2. Luckily I'm a bit of a fan of cryptic crosswords
  3. Be sure you keep on top of oil changes Chad. If it goes thin it can seep past the turbo and cause a phenomenon called dieselling. Basically the engine runs off it's own oil until it goes bang.
  4. Depends on the make & model. French cars it's often under 50k, but they do use lawnmower belts. And no, a diesel will destroy valves just as eagerly and will need doing just as regularly
  5. Either a bent valve or a crap camera PS-in fact several bent valves
  6. Probably not mate. I can't be fagged to be in a different hotel to everyone else TBH. I'm off to Spain on the 11th so I'll make do with a spin or two on the VFR-might have an overnight in Girona or somewhere. There'll be other times
  7. Check out the vid. All those old Brit singles burping along then right at the end you'll see Hailwood howl by on the MV Agusta. I was lucky enough to see that bike race, albeit ridden by Phil Read. Last four stroke to win the old 500cc Grand Prix class. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/on-this-day-mike-hailwood-killed-in-car-crash-140435227.html#qWTfP62
  8. I hadn't noticed this thread what's the score with rooms? Any space or is it all signed & sealed?
  9. Just been up to Barnsley to sign some legal documents and saw a dude out on a Speed Triple- where'e the Not Worthy emoticon when you need it most?
  10. A good read this. If you get as far as page 2 the knob is identified, all details now a matter of public knowledge. Get in!! http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=429641
  11. Norwegian Blue is much quieter mate
  12. One for your diaries maybe. April 21st, leaving Cat & Fiddle for Matlock Bath
  13. Can't disagree dude but just about every S3 seems to have Arrow cans, just thought I'd go for something different (when I can afford it ). And they're local to me as well
  14. Should open a page with three different cans displayed, a few pics lower right and dyno graphs lower left.
  15. I'm trying to get my B12 fixed up, and having fitted new fork seals can't decide whether to refit the original fork springs and flog off the Hagon progressives. Anyone on here interested for say £30? They're for early type 1200 Bandit, 1996 to 2000 or thereabouts.
  16. I keep looking longingly at this http://www.scorpion-exhausts.com/product-details.html?autoid=55 do like that Serket Taper one. Nice clean uncluttered rear, loads less weight, about another 10bhp. Opinions?
  17. thats what i did and saved quite a bit And we all act surprised when Hein Gericke or whoever goes down the shitter........
  18. Looking around it seems most people have to nowadays
  19. still some mark up though [1] Sometimes they will do a lot of prep work, sometimes none, and HMRC will also want their slice of the profit. But they also have to factor in the wide boy builders that want to trade in their 15 year old Bandit and insist it's worth two grand There's a 1200 Bandit in Classic Mechanics for £2,795 think I'll keep mine a bit
  20. I'm home, been for a very quick spin-these bikes simply rock. So small & easy to steer, and finally I have a genuine one finger brake setup. Glad I bought a newer model with the Brembo monoblocs.
  21. go and take them now Were it not for the fact I'm in a hotel in Yarmouth I would mate. well i am round there do you want me to take some ??
