  1. That's probably enough to hand Pedrosa the title methinks, unless he lobs it as well.
  2. As some of you know, I'm supposed to be flying to Spain to ride my VFR back. In fact I had flights booked for June 15th but we had so much work we didn't bother, just lost the flights & took the contract. Rebooked for June 29th but we've just realised that we have too much to do again so they're in the bin too. Luckily they are only £30 Ryanair cheapies, but it feels like I'll never get away. I've decided to not bother now until maybe August bank holiday and maybe take two weeks off. It's nice to be making a bit but I'm just gutted to be missing out again.
  3. Turning into a mileage whore Dave don't rub it in-I can't seem to get out on mine at all.
  4. Possible-I should be in at a decent time but was planning running the machine in the evening or we may be losing two more flights due to work. And WTF happened to my smilies?
  5. Had the 2004 model z1000 loved it, just waiting for my triple to be delivered lol. Hopefully its as good as people say! I miss my old zed and thought this would be a good alternative It is. they rock.
  6. Both sound choices, although I think you know which I'd steer you towards but take some advice and try a V twin Aprilia Tuono. Gen 2 bikes are on par or slightly cheaper than a Speedy and are awesome performers.
  7. I had to take a detour a few days ago from work as the road was closed. I've just found out it was a motorcycle fatality and the victim is a very long time friend of mine who I've known from my teenage years. His two brothers are also keen bikers and Chris is also a good mate. Wonder how they're feeling right now. RIP Dave Bacon age 58
  8. fill your pockets with them to stop wheelies...... Nah mate, fill your pockets with them to chuck at errant motorists?
  9. On some bikes a few of those will raise the ride height when plopped onto the rear shock mount.
  10. can i pick it it up ? Yes mate, although I'm working away so won't be home until tomorrow earliest. I'll PM you my work phone number as my phone has spazzed out, can't get numbers off or anything.
  11. Condition is good mate, not got rust & flaky paint. Next rideout take it back with you, sale or return.
  12. £39. Is this the gen 2 one then m8 ? TBH Dave I don't know, I can't remember what year bike it came off. do you want the whole shock or are you having it gutted for the spring? Might be an idea to borrow it & get an opinion from someone in the know.
  13. They don't look the same Dave, one has a longer mount and there is a rebound adjuster above the mounting hole. That's like mine.
  14. Well, I paid £40 for it originally. How close can you get to that dude?
  15. At a guess Dave I'd say yes. I'll fish it out tonight if I get time & do you a pic. Got a lot of work to sort though before I go back on the road tomorrow.
  16. I have a busa shock complete mate don't know what year though
  17. ...does this guy have a case? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-22887138
  18. Hard luck Dave, but remember it's only a bike is it easy to lower the fork yokes too? Otherwise you may find the steering goes a bit slow & stiff. Sorry Tony-while I was doing something else you'd posted pretty much my reply. Great minds think alike, although fools never differ.
  19. Gave it another chance and turned it off after 10 mins. Won't rush to turn it on again. That's 10 mins more than me mate, last series was enough for me.
  20. Trouble is Henry Cole is a knobhead. Or is it just
