1. Of course you are aware that the form should be filled out on or after March 27th. You may now be a criminal
2. Rose, I wish I'd married you! such an enlightened view of things.
3. If you're doing Millau area let me know-I've passed that way a time or two so may be able to offer some tips on routes/accommodation. Valencia MotoGP is 90 miles from my flat, so you've got a base sorted already I would be more inclined to go to Aragon in mid September as the ride to the circuit is far more interesting and the weather will be better. And that's only 80 miles from the flat hoping to do that one myself this year. Fingers crossed.
4. Done Assen twice, absolutely brilliant. The ride from the circuit is incredible with the motorway lined with people waving you off. I was still passing them 20 miles from the track. We stayed in Zwolle which is less than an hour to Assen but has a direct train to Amsterdam for Saturday night.
5. not enough money to ride to France from UK, but I hope I can ride my Bandit into the Pyrenees for a few days this summer.
6. Best to stay away from Facefook IMHO. Everyone knows it's operated by the CIA
7. It may be worth pointing out that the place won't be opening until Easter.
8. Gaz dont you mean we will I'm in Dave if you find a suitable date.
9. Nice one Wellsey-like I said if it only gets you to payday or whenever you can afford a new tyre it's worth a punt. I'd stick with it myself and get the use from the tyre.
10. Always seemed OK when I've been in but never got close enough on p/x when I was looking for a bike. I expect I'll have a blat up to see what's to do.
11. Trust me Wellsey I've done thousands of miles on a plug with absolutely no problem. If it keeps you going till payday it's worth a punt, but I'd have no qualms running a plugged tyre to the end of it's life. Too many ppl allow themselves to be controlled by fear-you're playing into the hands of the tyre salesman IMHO.
12. Because I've had more than my share! It will come right mate honest. As for tyres, get yourself a Maxxis from DK, cheap as chips. Or get yours repaired for a tenner or so. I've had two or three done no probs.
13. Got the first 40 miles on these Maxxis this afternoon. I'm round to within 15-20 mm of the edge, seem OK. Nice neutral but quick steering (might be me countersteering too hard cuz of that shagged out Conti)nice comfy feel on the bumpy bits. One thing I remarked on to the fitter was that the rear looks a bit narrower when fitted than my Contis, or any others, did. I wonder if I'm imagining it or whether that's why it tracks so easily. Certainly got rid of that "rear pushing the front" feel I had before. So, intial impression and no soiled underpants!
14. Checked mine in 2005 and again last year. No worries
15. Got my front fitted yesterday so I'll be hopefully giving them a scrubbing during the week & try to get a decent ride at the weekend. I got a pair from DK £126 delivered. Got to be worth a punt
16. Yep. Simples Basically now you can't have one without the other.
17. "Remember that you are an Englishman, and have consequently won first prize in the lottery of life." Wonder what Cecil Rhodes would make of this?
18. It's been around quite some time has this. When I was a MAG rep it was quite a big deal and finally it's been slipped in. TBH not a massive issue if you're happy to comply with the law but it does leave the forgetful open to further muggings.
19.

Yes we know your bums look big in those but they're standard issue. Sorry.
20. If I could get a pair fitted with change from £150 I'd say yes. At the moment cash is the deciding factor and that's why I've got Maxxis.
21. I wonder if you get tyre threads on *****van forums. And can you get like, anodised door handles & shit.
22. Right got the rear Maxxis fitted today, hopefully do the front tomorrow/Friday, then I'm all set for some cheap motoring this Spring. Just hope they're OK.
23. Avon Storms are well liked, although I've never had them.
