  1. Thinking about this it would probably make more sense to make it a legal requirement that the correct protective gear is worn, the amount of young people I see wearing a normal coat,jeans and skiing gloves is unbelievable , these will protect you more than a hi viz jacket .
  2. never had a problem with hi viz , its always something i wear on a motorway.
  3. found this on a vw forum , this chap seems to have similar problems . http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/186308.aspx we have a vauxhall which has a canbus system , without the right wiring certain controls on our car do not work.
  4. had this on my bandit1200 when i purchased it, also got a small bottle to dna further bits n bobs as I add bits to the bike.
  5. i look on the us site every now and then however import duty does outprice every thing once added on here , i'm never lucky enough to have anything slip though as anything i order from outside the e.u always comes with a nice tax bill. curse this country.

  10. when i took our lurcher in to be put down (cancer) I came out blubbing. Damn thing used to annoy me at times too , it was the most disobedient dog I'd ever had , never listened to what i said . I swear it done things to pee me off. I thought it would not affect me having him put down but it probably affected me the most. Especially as he was always waiting to greet me when i got home ....thats the bit i missed the most when he first went. we too had piper cremated , his box of ashes are still in the backroom on a shelf . we'll bury them one day.

  16. i was dancing in the kichen in my jim jams and my eldest tried to get a photo , however i caught him out and embarrassed him....told him i was gonna use it on forums as my profile pic to embarrass him further. he now don't speak to me , job done

  18. looking at some of the posts thats been voted up or down , this does seem a pointless operation.
  19. I tend to agree , been down this route and it causes problems.One member even started multiple accounts just to build up his reputation only to have them removed when other people realised what he was upto. I think a simple thank you suffices if someone is happy with whats posted.
