  1. Got to admit, they did close off the 'birds eye view' due to humidity! they do a yearly pass now which is good and the same price as a normal ticket!
  2. well you'd hardly go to the eden project and not go in the domes
  3. they will pop and burble, not back fire. most carbed bikes will pop on deceleration with a 'race' can fitted where as fuel injected wont ( most likely a bang and the odd flame with fuel injected ) however, i know they do recommend getting them jetted for the trumpet race mufflers Lot of people confuse the popping with back firing, difference is, you will hear one near the exhaust, the other under the tank/in the air filter which would really shit you up!
  4. Fine by me love the gorge, cracking sound going through it on a bike
  5. Aye last time i went was 12 years ago when it was first built. Remember the car park was all gravel up the side of a hill!
  6. dick as its a different bike to the usual lot. And fingers pic is the same as one a few months back... thought it had to be a pic taken during that month?

    Hi Folks``

Welcome mate, Im also from Northamptonshire
  11. im sure you will need a resistor for each indicator. Sure someone can confirm for me.
  12. just edited my post above with a piccy not 100% on the ohms but I'm sure 10 will be enough for it
  13. 10 Ohm 25w resistors should do the job but its just as cheap to buy the proper ones off eBay ( around £1.50 each? ) If i remember correctly this is how its done
  14. i use trip journal to keep a track of my journeys
  15. yeah lovely place, was a bit different to when i went 12 years ago when it first opened glad you like the pics there is more on my facebook, but not the full lot as there was over 300 pictures taken between me and the misses.
  16. dont get a dan moto if you want to pass a mot without pissing around with a stock can. However!!! if it has no markings to say road legal OR not for road use then 9/10 your ok, as it is up to the tester. I had a set of tiny GP cans that were um.. LOUD? with no stamps, passed fine with just a note of "noisy cans" and the same thing with a set of e-marked very loud cans ( currently fitted on my zed ) All bikes are different though, for instance, my CBR 600F 2011 has a cat and a mid silencer but the end can is just a Y peice of titanium made by mivv that they call a exhaust ( its a straight pipe ) and its quieter than a pair of fully baffled cans on the zed ( which has no cats or mid silencing )
  17. packed light this time with camera equipment. Only the kit lens and my old manual ( pics with the circular bokeh ) basically bottom 4 pics taken with the old lens
  18. went from Studley to Northampton, then a quick blast to Cheddar Gorge ( brilliant road through the gorge ) then from there to Exeter for the night. Yesterday morning we took a drive down the Cornwall to the Eden Project then back to Exeter for the night. Now back safe and sound at home First time i went was the first year it was open, had to park on the hill side, and all the plants and stuff was settling down and a lot smaller than they are now! Anywhoo some piccies! Cheddar Gorge Eden Project Looks like they grow there own herbs. Surrounded by a electric fence though i can't see why! My misses stroking a giant wasp lol
  19. This is one reason why i don't have respect for SOME bikers. Like yesterday, going down the A30 and the next thing i know, 4 police cars, 2 under covers, ambulances, police bikes, fire engine, air ambulance, find out guy got killed on bike, pillion was badly hurt, and a few miles down the same road, some guy on a Daytona crashed into the center reservation ( same bike i saw less than 30 minutes before riding like a t**t in town swerving in and out and near missing bollards ) Now i don't know the facts, but what i do know is the guy riding like a t**t survived, the other one who wasn't, didn't. You never know whats round the corner, but ya can bet ya bottom dollar, the ones riding like idiots will get away with just a scratch. ( sorry to be a downer on that! )
  20. theres a lot of VW owners that do it on the old golf/polo's, gotta admit though, they sound 1000 times better than the stupid bean tin/dust bin/noob canons chavs put on there corsa/clios and saxos lol
  21. pop down to HG, see if they got any R&G bungs im pretty sure all there bar ends are the same
  22. most OEM bars have threaded bits inside so will be as simple as removing the standard ones, sticking the same bolt through the new bar ends and screw them back in
