  1. In basic terms, Dave prefers dry lube/wax to oil I got a scott oiler, but i wouldnt buy one, nothing wrong with checking chain when ya wash bike and wax it
  2. Nothing like settings off alarms with the sound of a V-twin :P oh and the fact you can literally nock over small children with a rev
  3. These are cracking cans, got 2 of them to sell, Nice deep yet raspy sound, 52mm inlet/outlet, when baffled outlet is 1" but still pretty loud and raspy! Raw stainless finish, but have polished up the body, can polish them up a bit more if wanted. £50 each, Open to offers, got 2 of these but will split. Come with clamp, baffle but no link pipes Should be able to polish out all of the raw finish for a full on shiny look
  4. So we have a poll for makes, but whats your favourite engine configuration and why? I for one love my V-twins for the sound and engine breaking!
  5. cant really say a make, as all bikes are different. All have there pros and cons. For instance, i find the paintwork on suzuki's and yamaha's to be really thin ( newer bikes ) were as kawasaki and honda seem to be better, but the engines on the kawasaki's and suzuki's are bullet proof!
  6. though you had a cat Oops soz ye, cat! hard to think and type with a broken finger and pain killers
  7. And the twin sparked model ( 06 on ) is even better
  8. You noticed more people are going to small inline 4's and big twins/triples? Wouldn't mind trying a street triple come to think of it =D
  9. No, not yet. Would like too though. Looks good and most reports say it go's well. I find it hard to imaging that the B-Kings extra 300cc wouldnt be noticable ? Seen a stock, out of the crate B-King, in full road trim, with a rider who'd not been on one before, running in the very high 9's at the strip. The Z1000's around here can't do that. Its not all about power, and speed. I'd rather have a nice torquey thumping V-twin over a fast powerful bike any day =] If you get a chance to ride a zed, go for it.
  10. tbf, that link pipe is worth that on its own, 75mm inlet i think on them and its only the carbon cut it down and its good to go
  11. valarie rossi stoner, now that would be epic!
  12. aye, thats why i might give them a shot, its bridgestones i've never had confidence with lol
  13. ive been using avons for a while instaid of bridgestones, never had much confidence in them tbf. Might try some maxxis next though.
  14. well if the ktm doesnt pan out, a nice 1100 hypermotard =]
  15. told me gf not to buy me anything as i wont be buying anything lol. Like ya all said, she got me and i got her, surely thats enough to prove you love them
  16. should try a 190/50-17 on next time. I guess there reason for the 200 is to give it more a muscle bike look? or maybe the stock cans make a 190 look tiny hehe
  17. Where did you check ? B-King has always been 200/50-17 Busa is a 190/50-17. Same size wheels on both bikes. Yup got my mind muddled up, busa is a 190 bking is the 200, suprised that they use a 200 though.
  18. Grizzley for ya seat cover, will be best quality and price you can find :P
