  1. Mark got my plugs from here really good price and good service mate http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Iridium-Spark-Plugs-Suzuki-GSF-1200-S-Bandit-/350471385833?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5199b8f2e9
  2. Looks absolutely stunning Mark, I thought my bike was clean but your bike is immaculate.
  3. OR rig a boxing glove to those progressive springs you got off E-bay StanWallop! unless you've actually fitted them to the bike!!
  4. My thoughts are with everyone concerned, I have been involved with numerous railway fatalities and a couple of bike fatalities and afterwards have shed a tear at everyone. It would have helped so much to have been on a forum like this to release the feelings. I'm so glad Tim had you guys by his side and hope you can now deal with the traumatic event you have witnessed. Please take care everyone! Mike.
  5. Not been able to do much due to work BUT thanks for all the response Stan the pistons move back smoothly under hand pressure so not sticking pistons. Ian original discs so unless contaminated shouldn't be an issue and have new stainless pad slider pins in. I have just bought some Bendix brake pads (come highly recommended from some dedicated track day mates)and will change the EBC HH sintered ones I have in to these and update the results as i think its a brake pad issue
  6. Hartside cafe on a sunny day Dick
  7. Sorry to hear this Rose just glad hes ok, its times like this we appriciate our loved ones when the implication of what could have happened sinks in. Please give him our best tell him to stop kicking himself (Thats your job, LOL)
  8. My push rod is a little corroded and I Know they can be replaced with stainless but I don't recall seeing any problem with yours when the chain/sprockets were replaced Mark. If there's air getting in then there's a leak and fluid must be getting out. Have you tried doing a fluid change and a thorough bleed? especially check the Banjo fittings around the cluch master cylinder and slave cylinder and that the bleed nipple is tight and isn't weeping. I can't see fitting the bikini sprocket cover would have any bearing on air in the hydraulic system, hope someone has a bit better advice for you mate you and it gets sorted......... anyway more importantly whens your swinging arm coming out for bracing and polishing
  9. Which all goes to prove he,s a know now't prat who is long past replacing as a motoring journalist.
  10. I can appreciate that from inside the driving cab it could be easy to forget your extra height but surley the bus must have a set route away from low bridges but your right Dick, Stue could have been a lot worse.
  11. This happened round the corner from my mams and its a common problem on the railway you'd think the driver would have a bit more sense especially transporting kids, the chevrons are bright enough! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-15016390
  12. Well Done Dave and Stue for all your Effort!
  13. Done this numerous times Stan lasts about a week then returns back to no bite which is also why i'm ruling out air in the system, if doing this works initially my thinking is it has to be pads or discs and I don't use any sprays or bike cleaners anywhere near the brakes to contaminate them. Lee posted that his brakes are the same so not sure what it can be
  14. Lovely looking bike but does your right thigh not get very hot?
  15. Same as Stans reply Mark if it was air wouldn't it manifest itself as spongy brakes, more lever travel to compress the bubbles. Mine has a firm lever, just no bite. So pads been the cheaper option is the way to go i think as EBC have'nt worked for me i'll try those you suggested mate! ..... when i get chance
  16. Or they can be sneaky and give you a slightly higher tax code to compensate, which doesn't really feel like your getting it
  17. won't hurt to bleed through again Stan, but wouldn't the lever be spongy?
  18. Its been like it from new Ken but the pistons operate freely and can be pushed in with finger pressure and all move together.
  19. Same set up as me then Rob and the lever has a firm feel just sh t brakes.
