  1. Some do have forward facing and side facing but generally the forward you might have seen is a small camera about 200mm in length for getting rear number plates of speeding bikes after they pass the working camera.
  2. Chad buy it. If it were new you would strip it so less to lose on this one at £700. LEAVE THE BLOODY THING ALONE AND RIDE IT.
  3. Ring HMRC tell them you started a businesS. You are registered on ebay as a business seller so the safe bet is to call HMRC.
  4. Hope you registered the business with HMRC. If not do it now.
  5. Chad. The ad in my opinion is ok. Even the most stupid person looking at the ad can see you bid 99p for a dustcap. Also says you are breaking therefore you are not selling the complete scoot. Don't cash the P/O is it arrives.
  6. The buyer could be far more bright than you think Chad. He might be a dealer and see this as the opportunity to buy a scoot for 99p. I see he is paying by P/O, this does not change what he is/could be. Look at your ebay ad see if it looks like you are selling a scoot for 99p. ADDED Chad. People spend hours scanning ebay etc looking to gain financially from ads such as yours. Be careful mate. Hope it goes ok for you.
  7. is axa on the forum. but swindon told them to send me no claims and cocked up so they can do the running around not me! Best of luck if Swinton are involved.
  8. Chad. Did you complete the full year? 5 seconds short is a good excuse not to award another year no claims.
  9. They b-----ks up the economy now move to green pastures new, which they will b-----ks up. Do we really pay millions to support these prats?
  10. Dave. If you struggle for similar again. Easy fix. Get bolts/screws the correct shape head (round or hex) and thread diameter. Get someone to skim the head to thickness you require on a lathe. Job done.
  11. i got a mate who had a high speed bike crash he drove like a knob. ended up smashing himself to bits. bout a month ago bought anouther bike, offering people races! some people just never learn Im sorry to say this Chad, but he will end up killing someone, or killing himself Usually some innocent person going about their business. Remember when I was young a prat at college got a 500cc Suzuki. He howled through town, lost control and killed a woman walking on the pavement.
  12. Chad. If the chain is knackered its odds on that the sprockets have started to wear. If so the sprockets will produce their profile to the new chain and will not last the distance. If previously the sprocket(s) have been changed without replacing the chain the chain will profile the sprockets.
  13. Was thinking the same earlier Neill but decided not to offend Chad lol.
  14. Totally agree. Seen the result of a cheap chain snapping. Made a mess of bike and rider. Chad You get the same response here as you did with the same request on the BF. If you can't afford a decent chain sell it without one and reduce the price by £75+ so the buyer is safe. DID and SPROCKETS £79
  15. Bet the garage started it, checked the charge going in, all ok new battery.
  16. Chad. You want to tell us all how you damaged your wrist lol.
  17. You must always ask permission BEFORE you get ya leg over. Any advice on bike rape?
  18. Did say earlier 1200 to 1500 grit. You did say primer run. Do not worry about breaking slightly with the 1200/1500 into the colour paintwork alongside the area you are priming as this will help make a better finished paint job.
  19. Chad. If you are uncertain what to do my advice is treat the run as though you have applied a filler. Flat it back until its flush with the surrounding area.
  20. 1200 to 1500 W&D take your time rub gently and don't rub in one place, spread the area evenly. 30 minutes should sort it.
  21. The older we get the faster life passes. We are old only when we can't ride a bike. The aim in life is to ride until we are at least 75.
  22. That looks a great job mate.
