  1. the trouble with the standard ecu is they only have certain points in the fueling and rev range where they are tuneable whereas a power commander has a greater range of tunability, well that's what I was told anyway when I got my bandit done it was a different bike.
  2. well done for a good cause, why did you not do it mike
  3. nah , I've had a few painkiller whiskeys.

  7. while at work this morning a guy who is moving into the unit opposite mine comes in and asks if we would be interested in a steel workbench and some other items he is clearing out, so me and my partner lock up as I drop the roller door he gets a bit of a headstart on me so I run across the car park and down a grass slope which is about 15 ft high and about 45 degrees so quite steep, yep you've guessed it I tripped at the bottom cleared about 6 ft of flat grass and landed on the pavement like a bag of shite. my left hand took most of the hit and I thought I had broke my wrist at first but it seems ok now. got quite a bit of gravel rash in my hand just been in shower pulling the flaps of skin off to clean it, hope its ok for work tomorrow cos it was a bugger trying to do stuff one handed today

  13. I came off about a mile from home I was setting up the fueling and it was a warm day so I would change something on the bike then put my leathers on and test ride come home gear off strip bike change something again gear on test bike I did this all morning and I did think this is a ballache getting changed all the time . but i'm glad I did it as no doubt I would have taken some bark off my arm and hip. I've been there before and feck me it hurts for a good while.
  14. I wouldn't chance it unless I had something in writing saying youre covered,if you haven't and something untoward happens you'll be left high and dry facing perhaps a ban, high insurance costs, uninsured lossess, its just not worth the risk for about £30 for temp cover. my son had a misdemeanour several years ago and he's still paying for it now.
  15. different but it don't float my boat.
