  1. Good luck with it Chad. Fingers crossed
  2. I think we book rooms in The Talbot and meet up in the bar for the night. It's within easy walk for Stue & Kayley, Pike & Nina and Luke and also for us given we'll be staying there They serve meals in the bar, the rooms are okay and the bar prices seem about normal. Seems the logical thing to do to me. As long as they have rooms
  3. I'll try and speak to the Talbot over the weekend to see what rooms they have available for that weekend . Currently we need 2 doubles and one single, possibly two singles if Stan is joining us. I'll let people know what they say
  4. Looking good mate Some good work there, impressive
  5. Im used to the power on the zed but on this it kicks in the second you twist the throttle lol and its surprisingly comfy for a sports bike I got off the B12, a nice "sit up and beg" onto the ZX12, so a much bigger shock for me I got the same effect on the long rides on the ZX. It's a lot more comfortable than the B12 for longer journeys, which did surprise me. Don't know whether it's the "slightly" sporty position or the fact on the ZX I'm not stretched out, or a combination of both? Either way, a nice bike to ride Enjoy the Ace
  6. front wheel off a CBR 600 is supposed to fit straight in and of all the big sports bikes the blade is the cheapest to insure because Insurers think that blade owners tend to be more mature and sensible. Rules Chad straight out then
  7. The colour is better in the flesh and she rides great! bit faster than my old 600 bandit but still miss the old B6 I think I'm the same, still miss the old B6 on occasion. Generally as I'm refilling the ZX after an "enthusiastic" run out
  8. Have a good one mate. Hope you get spoiled as everyone should on their birthday
  9. Took the ace out today for the first time ( still need a few bits doing to it ) and HOLY MOTHER F*$@£%KING SH*T!! what a machine! The thing absolutely flies, Had the same effect when I first took the ZX out after getting off the Bandit. Still getting used to it as I haven't really opened it up yet I think it will be a moment if I ever do
  10. Nice looking bike there Like the colour . It's surprisingly easy on the eye, not easy for "yellow". I'm sure she rides easily within all limits
  11. black cars are a get to keep clean. I used to have a black Ford Orion (showing my age now ) and it was beautiful once washed, t-cut and polished . However, after a few days and some rain it looked awful as it showed all the streaks etc . Good luck Mark, think you may need a few extra hours in the day mate
  12. Looks nice mate, and sounds like it's exactly what you were looking for
  13. I was debating doing the Cauld Arse Rally this year at the end of October, but might be a bit warm for me May just keep the bike inside and look to do a bit more next year once Uni is done and dusted
  14. Chad. Our mate still has the GSXF 750, but not sure what you're looking for? Is it fast enough?
  15. That I start looking at wrapping the bike and getting the essentials done. Given the recent change in the weather I think come the end of the month the bike will be up on stands getting the annual maintenance done. Going to strip of the fairings and change oil, air filters etc. Also may add some braided brake hoses while everything's off. Also got plans for some new levers, carbon cover the fairing fins and the seat cowl and maybe a new tank insert. We'll see
  16. Could be useful for someone looking for a spare
  17. Sorry to hear about the new car mate. We all know what the W in BMW stands for don't we?
  18. It's still summer mate! Winter doesn't start till there's snow on the ground and we have to start wearing jackets up here
  19. If no-one minds, I think I'll keep the bike upright
  20. Price down to £1,200 if anyone interested?
