Last weekend decided to have a go at changing the header bolts for stainless. Being rather nervous about it having seen on other forums how the oem bolts are made of cheese armed with a tin of Plus Gas let battle commence 1 gave all bolts a squirt of plus gas left it for 20 mins 2 now time to attack thought i would try the outside headers first hear goes tighten first then start to undo with a lot of creaking and cracking 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 bolts all out none snapped 3 now to try the inside 2 headers all 4 bolts are very tight didnt want to snap them so gave them a good soaking and left them over night. Next morning out to the garage more Plus Gas wait 20 mins then sh1t or bust hear goes the usual creaking and cracking turn out a bit back in a bit 1 out 2 out 3 out 4 out Breathed a very big sigh of relief and fitted the Stainless Bolts with Copper Grease Job Done
