Thanks Dave. Never a copper around when you want one. These are the sort of things bikers have to contend with. Speed cameras don;t catch this kind of incident

Had my first ride out of 2013 today. Just a little trip to Monyash and Matlock Bath and managed to resist the chip shop. First near miss. About 100 yds from my home are some traffic lights with the lanes separated by bollards in the middle of the road. Sat there waiting for the lights to change and a muppet turned off the main road and took the bollards the wrong side nearly wiping out my front wheel (its a regular thing at these lights) Instead of backing up and going the correct side of the road the guy started waving for me to back up and let him past!!! Thought stuff this I'm not the one who's driving without due care so I sat there. Car driver does no more than drive at me so I had to pull to the side of the road and lean my bike to save losing the mirror!!! Ride safe folks for they are out to get us
