i have been trying to work this riddle out for a year now. can some one help...... You saw a shirt for £97. You didn't have the cash so you borrowed £50 from your dad and £50 from your mum. You bought the shirt and had £3 change. You gave your dad £1 and mum £1 leaving you with £1. So now you owe dad £49 and mum £49. £49 + £49 + your £1 = £99. Why isn't it adding up??

I am coming up to my full first year of riding and have been looking around for an upgrade. I have seen a bike and when I feed the details online for a quote i get confused about the saving or not saving the no claims bonus. If i save it it costs 1178 pounds. If I don't save it it drops to 450 pounds. Could anyone explain to me what this no claims is and why it fluctuates so much please?

f**k me!!! bad shit man. It could be a professional gang going round doing some places then moving on. Afew years ago when I lived in manchester (middleton) all the pubs and chippys were done in a week. And two years ago where I live now 5 pubs were done in a fortnight. Even one with a particularly unpleasant dobberman. All the same, sorry pal. -

also remember when taking the picture with a ruler/measure try and get the depth as they have limits as to when compensation kicks in. It's just a feeble attempt to squirm out of it in these hard times. But as someone else has mentioned, it's a bitch that you may end up fixing your bike in the end but if it gets them to do something about the hole, you may be saving the next rider's life -

I have some sympathy with what your saying BUT you cant blame the kids they're being well kids! blame the parents who haven't got the slightest concern what their kids are up to and then later in life haven't got the slightest interest in who's property they are vandalizing/stealing (delete as appropriate) I have 2 kids 28 and 24 and they never stepped out of line and I have 2 grandchildren and they wont either I agree with you, a lot of it is down to poor parenting. It is beyond me how a 16 year old can be trusted to have a child and make decisions that will affect its destiny when I would not trust them with my weekly budget.
