I am a person with few friends myself. I have always had 1 or 2 close friends and that is about it. I have a lot of companions and people I spend some time with but to be honest I think I prefer it this way. I have always had trust issues in the past and I think I just developed a habit of being a quiet person at home and striving to be close to my family. The Lord is my best friend of course and I count on that a lot. The Lord said, "Do not worry about today or what you will wear....do I not take care of the birds and are they not adorned.....you are more valuable to me then they. Paraphrasing here but you get the meaning. Do not worry. Put God first in all you do and these things will be added unto you. His love is real and his words are truth and he will be with you forevermore....the most faithful friend a person could want or need. We are blessed. Love in Jesus, Connie

The thing that comes to mind to me is this.....just my thoughts here....Always be the prodigal sons parents. By that I mean do what you are doing. Let him know he is always welcome. The decision to return must be his but the gentle reminders he is welcome will always be with him and when the time comes....and you know it will...he will return. Love in Jesus, Connie

Boscoe, The very fact that someone asks this question would tell me they are ready. To think and ponder on it would be the Holy Spirit working in them. Anytime is the right time. The way to do it is to ask the Lord to be one's savior. A simple heart felt prayer.... Father, I come to you today a sinner. I ask you to forgive me all my sins and to fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you all so much for your prayers. I feel them I really do. I had to officiate at the service....toughest thing I ever did. God gave me the words....I was speechless for the first time in my life. I am still numb and it has been 2 weeks already. My comfort is in the Lord and my strength comes from him! Praise the Lord! Debra, Pray pray and pray some more. Once trust it broken it is hard to gain it back...understand cuz I have been there. It can happen though. If you feel led to leave then by all means do it. Just remember that forgiveness is a good thing although I know right now it is not easy. But whether you stay or not it will be needed. I will be praying in agreement with you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding....in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6. Love in Jesus, Connie
