RnestseekR, I have had many times when the Lord has shown me an image when I pray over someone. Sometimes I have no clue what it is or how to pray over it so I ask the Lord right then and there in the prayer.....Father, I thank you that you are revealing to me what to pray for right now and I come to you Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it to me that I may know how to pray....(if nothing comes to my mind or heart) then I pray in the spirit until the Lord gives me a release over that one subject. Sometimes that is a few minutes and sometimes much longer but I do not quit until he releases me. I usually just no longer have the urge to pray in the spirit over the one thing he showed me. Once I get that release I continue to pray over the person and usually then I will get a word from the Lord about the person. I pray that is of help to you. Love in Christ, Connie

RnestseekR, That gift of prophesy is used in this forum to encourage the body of Christ and to pray for them. It is also used in intercession to pray for the lost but also to pray for our country and other nations. It is also used to set the captive free in Deliverance and Healings. You Jeanie, The thing that comes to mind this morning after knowing that our new President Elect is Obama is that ALL authority is from the Father, and in the Word we are commanded to respect that authority because it comes from the Father. We need to stand together as a nation and love one another. I thought Senator McCain's speach was awesome last night and it showed the love of God in every word he spoke. I like my friend here come into agreement and take authority over you spirit of death and render you mute, useless and bind you and cancel all your assignments, that includes any underlings with you and command you into the light and to the feet of Jesus for punishment, right now in Jesus name! Butterfly, Let us pray, Father, we thank you Lord that you are our Lord and our Master. We thank you that you are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! We thank you Lord that you give us strength to stand for you at all times. We thank you that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and that we will be obedient to the Father at all times. One other note.....He cannot give a person Love....but he can project a thought to make them believe they have things they don't. Make sense? Connie

Butterfly, He lies, cheats and steals. Yes he is the master deceiver. He can trick a person into believing they have the fruits of the spirit. Just like he can fool you into believing many things. Why do you ask? Love in Christ, Connie

Heavenly Father, We lift up our friend pwilso512 and ask you Lord to give him guidance regarding his career choices. Lord we just ask that you would give him open doors of opportunity and give him confidence to know which ones are from you and to slam shut the doors you do not want him to walk through.
