I am into the country fried steak also......you see my problem is all food is comfort food.....LOL My second weakness though is any Pasta dishes....preferably white sauce dishes. Yummmmm! Father, In the name of Jesus we lift up the people of Haiti and ask you Lord to heal their land. We pray a hedge of protection around the children and the people there Lord that they would be safe and have plenty in the appearance of lack. Jeanie, Another note here. I would never tell you not to listen to the Doctor or not to take your meds but this is what has worked for me with regard to this disease which I have also. 1- Eat high fiber foods, such as fresh fruit in the morning 2- 2 bowls of oatmeal per day. 3- A smoothie after ever meal 1 8 oz glass of apple juice 1 cup fresh frozen mixed fruit 1/2 banana mix in blender and enjoy 4. Eat a salad with every meal This helped me a bunch. I also drink 4 8 oz glasses of water per day and I only take meds when no other choice is available. They wanted me to take Rx laxatives also but I do not. Changing the diet here is key. No nuts, sesame seeds, tomato seeds, sunflower seeds, limited dairy products. You are probably doing most of this already but this helped me tremendously. Basically no drugs and no processed foods. That was instrumental in my healing. I was a very sick lady for 3 years. Lord we thank you that you will be watching over him closely and that you will be guiding the surgeons hands and that all will be well in the surgery and in the recovery. Lord I come against anything that would try to hinder the success of the outcome of this surgery. Lord it say in your word to trust in you with all our heart and lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path! Lord we lay him at your feet and thank you for all you are doing and all you will do for him. Father we thank you that he will be a living testimony for you. Father I pray your peace over Laura and her husband and they take him to have the surgery. Father I pray over the entire family and thank you for all of them. One more note. I do not believe you should just blurt out what you see over a person. The reason I say this is because you may see them in an accident or some other type of situation that will not edify them. We are to lift them up. We are to encourage them when we pray over them. If I see something that is not favorable to the person or encouraging....then I pray in the spirit until I receive a release. The Lord is asking me at that point to intercede for them on their behalf. Then I will wait for the Lord to tell me what to tell the person. I have had many people tell me to blurt it out.....I do not agree with that as that is not how the Lord has instructed me in the past to do that. I pray this is of help to you. Connie
