Tiddly Winks

I actually keep a list of the people who send me boxes, then I send them back. I know that a lot of people do the 'like' thing on them, but I just delete them after accepting. If they get a box from me, then hopefully they know that I accepted theirs.

Not sure how I feel about 3 weeks of Halloween stuff. I wish that they would do a cute Halloween theme, like Charlie Brown. Not just the scary stuff. I used to dress as a princess for Halloween, and it was more like a masquerade ball.

I remember 5 were 300 coins, but haven't checked the others.

Xavier got 5 CCs twice in a row (with the five days). I've gotten 1, 3, and today 2. Not happy. Xavier will get more tomorrow.

Haven't been buying the CC items, but loved the Cleopatra outfit, so got one of those. I love the cats, especially the GMB cat. It's so cute. I want to get a whole bunch of them. They are neat.

I love autumn, the biggest day of the year falls in November...not Thanksgiving...my birthday. Mwahahaha.

I'm going with 'Xavier' to his cousin's place to celebrate. They have a a neighborhood block party of sorts, and it's fun. Like being in the movies. I'm going to wear my Cat Bus hat that Kokonee made for me, and try and accesorize my clothing with that.

I don't want to see this site face away. We need to realize, all of us that if we get too dependent on Facebook, then that is what will happen. A lot of people say that Facebook is the wave of the future, but I don't want to put all the power into their hands. Just last week, I found out that on the 31st of this month, they will be removing all discussions from the groups. They want to make the 'walls' more active. Well, in my opinion, the walls will get too busy and and all the really important news from my favorite artists etc. will get shoved down to the bottom of the page. I have had some time to really think about this and I think that this forum is of vital importance. What if on any given day, we can't access our Facebook accounts? Does it mean that our online life grinds to a halt? I know that a lot of people think the groups are a good thing, and they are, but why sacrifice a perfectly nice forum for the sake of keeping a group running? The group, if kept active can promote the forum, and get people here. I just hate the fact that we, in general, are becoming too dependent on Facebook. It's like the World Wide Web's version of Walmart. Get everything under one room, and not taste the variety of life that is out there. Sad, IMO.

I am doing everything I can to make sure that doesn't happen. We have to keep talking, and keep having fun. It's the only way that we can make sure this place doesn't fade into obscurity.

I had to delete several friends so that the game would run a bit faster. I guess having 100+ 'friends' tends to make things a bit crazy.

I really love this show right now. I have been going through phases with different things and right now I am in my Quantum Leap mode. Since I have been sick, I have been relaxing and watching several episodes on DVD. Is anyone else hooked on it? Or am I the only one?

So sorry I haven't been around during the past few days. I got sick starting last Monday and have been dealing with that since then. Today, I'm starting to feel human again, so maybe in the coming days I can start playing catch up here.

The zodiac plushies are awesome. I bought one of the new rooms because I loved the colors. Now I have an entrance, and a fortune teller room. Great way to display a number of the potions.

Well, I bought more CC items than intended, but when I got my room decorated I realized that photos were not working. I tried the Phantom of the Opera ones, the Beauty and the Beast ones, and nothing worked. My fairy ones are still in package. I have tons of stuff that I never opened. But I finally broke down and bought the Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI portraits because I like that time in History and read lots of stories growing up about it. I didn't think I'd like it all, but I did, and the Harpsicord is an instrument that I adore. I don't know why, but it's really got a very renaissance like sound. I heard one played live some months back and was blown away by how neat they sound.

Oh and Check Titania's door. Tiddly Winks stopped by with a little surprise.

You can change your clothes at your friends' places too. I love the kitty, it's really cute, so I bought 4 of them and have them scattered around Tiddly Winks' house. Here are some of Tiddly Winks' finest (ahem) outfits. This totally reminds me of my fashion felanies contest from about a year ago.
