I've done cross stich (not for a few years now though lol) and know how hard it is...and I also know how amazing it can look when done perfectly. if you are using a dial up connection rather than a broadband connection then yes this will effect your internet speed, but you should notice it on all programmes you run not just PSFC

if you right click on a picture and then click properties it will tell you the size of your pic, the first size is normally the width. If you are using more than one pic you will need to add up all the widths to make sure you dont exceed the 720px max
