  7. Hi all, opinions/advice please. Just got back from the NEC bike show and looked at a system from Maxco. Its a Bluetooth hand free wireless free communication. It uses a vibration driver using the helmet shell to create a 3D audio inside the helmet. Did try it out at the show, as best you can and it certainly seemed to work. The kit is secured to the helmet on the outside by magnet and clip - seemed secure enough and obviously they say it is. the microphone fits inside the cheek padding of the helmet. Retails at £225 for rider-pillion kit - not sure how that relates to other pieces of kit. I have to say I was very impressed, but wondered if anyone had used it or heard reviews, good or bad. Most of the time its not a problem not communicating (the peace and quiet can be quite nice actually ) but would be good on long journeys, like the trip to Scotland we are planning next year. http://www.maxco.co/product/d01-1-twin-pack-rider-pillion/

  15. yeh right, I'm sure mel will be ok with that. Lol reminds me of the time he tried to show his mates how to pull. All I can say Dave is u get out of your own pickles haway then mel you can't keep us hangin on like that, spill the beans. I promise not to take the mick. well ... we were out with some mates at a night club. Dave told them they should be on the pull and he would show them how it was done. To his credit he did pull .. eventually .. but then after a bit realised he had to come clean - as I was watching and laughing at his antics . He brought her over to our table to introduce me as his girlfriend and explain it was all a bit of a bet. I told her I was his sister ! hee hee watching him try to shake her off was really funny, especially as it became clear that she was big friends with the bouncer - and we are talking pre health and safety days when bouncers were bouncers
