Hi all, been an eventful couple of days. My gum got worse, finally went to a local dentist on Thursday, who advised antibiotics, then showed me a local technique where he pressed the inflammation until l almost fainted. Went home, started my penicillin, while my gum got ever bigger. At about seven it burst, blood and pus everywhere, now seem to be on the mend. I actually looked at flights home, could barely get my lid on. -
Had a ride into the hills to check the bike over, all looks OK. Unfortunately hit San Mateo in rush hour OK, how many of you have ever been boxed in by bamboo?

Travel went like clockwork, had a raging toothache from my recent visit to the dentist, seems to be settling. Just been to the bank, having morning coffee in town on the seafront.

Well, that came around quickly enough. On the big bird to Barcelona tomorrow, on to the flat for a bit of R'n'R and I'll be riding the ZZR back from July 14th. Over the Pyrenees and on to the ferry at Le Havre. Packing was easy as I have no room for clothes (all gloves and waterproofs ) Will try to post when I get some Wifi. Play nicely now......

you can buy a complete lead on Ebay for around £8-9 mate. Crimping is enough if you do it properly. -

Personally Dave I'd be tempted to look somewhere like Middleton in Teesdale or Alston, go up the A1/A66 as far as Barnard Castle and cut off onto the moor roads. Correct me if I'm wrong, but were you going up the motorway to Penrith?

Took off another half turn of compression front and rear as I'm only a little lightweight. Much more comfy over the rough stuff. Did another massive handling improvement too...... blew the tyres up. 22psi front and rear which is not where you want to be -
Thanks guys. Not much of a day really-my early finish evaporated and actually I didn't get in til gone seven. Had a quick spin on the bike and just had my dinner. Not too busy this weekend so hopefully get some fun in then. -

Depends on work-I'm in London but have a chance of an earlyish finish. If the M1 plays the game I'd make it.

Good news mate Why do you want to lover the front, isn't it turning in quick enough? It just seems a bit reluctant compared to my other bikes. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on it but I don't seem to be able to handle it as naturally somehow. Could be me of course. -
You see, this is what happens when you have those long Scandinavian winter nights. Good job dude. Looks nice. -

The other snag is that my Speedy doesn't have a bolt fitting at either end, it's two eyelets. Would have to be dogbones really.
