  1. Yeah, short notice mate. Just came in from work, sun out, a month's tax is less than a cinema ticket. Get on with it!
  2. Online tax rules! Just taxed my Speed Triple, off to pick it up from work & me and the missus are going up the Peak District. Prob go to Monyash to the Old Smithy, on to Ashford. Anyone about? I will be leaving home about 30 mins, be in Monyash around 2:30 I guess.
  3. Tax expires on my Speedy today but seriously thinking of retaxing. Weather is ridiculous, and tomorrow in particular looks good. Think I'll be finished work by 12 too.
  4. If you want a non approved version of W7 Ultimate, I know someone who has a disc.
  5. Mate, every tower unit I own is second hand-still running XP on some. You need to do a thorough clean up, maybe reinstall your OS. Makes a massive difference
  6. Chad have you had much feed back or any useful advice from the performance aprilia page over on fb? If you're referring to Griff over in Tamworth, he's very highly rated on the Falco & Tuono forums I lurk on.
  7. Go to settings and delete browsing history "since the beginning of time" can often help.
  8. Always gratifying to see a returnee. Welcome back mate.
  9. Race of the Year. That brings back some memories.
  10. Ratchet strap gave way? Unusual Chad, but when your luck's out..........
  11. It's a 2007 BTW. Price now £3,500. 16k miles. Anyone want to buy a VFR Vtec or ZZR1200?
  12. Having a Guinness in Douglas, IOM. Bit different to TT week l expect.
  13. At work until 5, not feeling too good tonight. Hope l feel up to riding the bike tomorrow.
  14. Not an age thing Chad, it's prioritising. Frankly I think exhaust cans are way overpriced to begin with, and I just happen to have come to the opinion that money can be better spent.
  15. I bought some Leo Vince cans for my VFR Vtec. No change in power, but look much nicer, weigh a fair bit less, and of course sound infinitely better. Most modern cans come with slip in decibel killers to shut the cans up should you wish. That said, I'm not sure I'd buy them again, in fact doing this bike put me off getting a can for my Speed Triple. Nothing against Leo Vince, they're great, but cans would now feature quite a bit further down my to do list on a bike.
  16. Not sure on year but it's a Gen II in black & grey. Very very clean. Thinking maybe get rid of my ZZR or VFR. I'm getting back into big upright nakeds again
  17. Fair enough mate. Probably a good thing-last time my mate went with me and finished up buying a Z900!
  18. Nice to hear from you mate. Best wishes to your wife going forward, hopefully catch up with you somewhere.
  19. I'm on one or two bike forums and there's a very nicely kept Tuono come up. Absolutely shouldn't be considering this but I can't help myself. Talk me down someone! And Chad, what's your view of them having owned one for a wee while now?

  22. If I'm not at work I'd be interested. Quite a pleasant road up to the venue.
  23. Watched one about southern Germany the other night, quite good. Henry Cole's delivery is as dull as ditchwater though.
