He actually belongs to my son. I lost a chocolate lab pretty young and I don't think I could own another dog. He is a smasher though and seems pretty bright. His teeth are sharp mind you!! -

Control + will normally expand your page, but you'll see less of it of course. ....and Control - will do the opposite. On Chrome a little icon appears in the right hand end of the address bar with a "return to default size" option. -

Well, I got an early finish and my cush drive is OK, so I went up Derbyshire. Pretty quiet, but rode into a sleet storm around Longnor. Not quite so nice. Better than being at work mind. Have a great Xmas all -

Ferry booked, just emailed a little Pension in Potes. I'd like to plot up in the same place for a couple or three nights this time, sooner than pack/unpack daily like I've done before. I would have done the same. In Chester waiting for my customer, seen half a dozen crunches along the A556. Not sure the gritters went there last night. Just too easy to cause yourself a lot of grief. -
Ordered the racks for my soft panniers, left an email message with supplier to get my tank jacket. Just need to get wrapped up with work while there's still a bit of riding time in the autumn, if not before. -

Been in touch with a company in Guilford who will price match it (original site is German) so I'll sort that out tomorrow hopefully. I've decided, a bit like Dave, that I need to get the best out of this bike, not leave it lovely for someone else to whip off me in due course. Anyone for a long weekend in the Ardennes next autumn?

Right, I've managed to book my holidays already for next year, so I'm looking to book a ferry to Santander May 17th. Three days in the Picos de Europa in Potes maybe, then overnight to the flat, fly back from Barcelona. I'm further hoping to quit my job late summer and go back on my own, so hopefully will be in a better position to participate in forum stuff too. Fingers crossed it all unfolds that way

Bloody ell, only just seen this. I know the Long Itch very well, we used to have a breakfast there before going ferreting. You'll be full when you go. Some nice roads out to it as well, guess you went down the Fosse.
