I don't get why Yamaha can't get the FI Right on their bikes. They seem to run as lean as they possibly can without causing engine damage. The fueling issue can be fixed with a co2 optimizer, or changing the CO levels via the dash. Typical closed loop fueling, no Power commander or other fuel controller can fix it.

Looking at the oil last night, its very very thin... almost looks like they didn't do a oil change at the first service ( wouldn't surprise me ) So I'm going to give it a oil change and see if its any better. I did wonder if the clutch plates were sticking as it doesn't slip, it just seems to stick. Hard to explain without riding it and even then you don't always notice it. Bike will be going back for the bars that's for sure. Been like it for 4,000 miles and said at first service and been back since. Took it somewhere else for them to agree that the bars are indeed, NOT level. I have actually thought about going back to a older Z1000 like i had before, but i know it won't be the same.

TBF my ducati was brill apart from corrosion. But then again, the MT-09 is furred up on bolts already! I don't think the triple has been out long enough for them to iron out problems. Would be nice if Yamaha said yes there is a problem instead of saying they will replace parts if you want them too... If i wanted a thrill as to if i would get home or not, I'd buy a Harley lol

No more Yamaha's for me after this one. Nothing but bloody problems! The bars are wonky which look like they are down to the clamps not being level ( means dropping forks to line it all up ) The cam chain rattles like a bastard at 5k rpm that can be heard over a full system without baffle, the rattle is that loud! Now it looks like i have a issue with the clutch. If you rev the bike with the clutch pulled it you can feel the bike jolt, if you cruise just on throttle you can feel the bike jolting ( nothing to do with fueling might i add ) and when its hot, the bastard clutch seems to stick so its slowly releases then just goes! because of this the bike stalled whilst crossing a road! Nearly ended up with me under it. I know there a new bike/engine but surely when mentioning issues, Yamaha shouldn't say *Well we haven't heard any problems with this that or another, but we will swap it for a IMPROVED version of *enter part here* But we can't say it won't happen 1000 miles later* The MT-03 had issues with cutting out and TPS problems. I'm going back to a Italian bike next time round ( but not use it all year round ) // *Rant over*

tried and tested. Basically its the best of 7 and best of 8 combined. You still have the metro apps but on the side of the standard windows 7 start bar. Its quicker than windows 7, sadly is flat like windows 8 and still doesn't shut down when you press shutdown ( goes into a strange state of hibination! hence why its so fast at booting up ) Best bit is its free upgrade for the first year, even if you are using non genuine windows 7. Depending on what version of windows 7 you currently have ( or windows 8 ) depends on which version of windows 10 you end up with. Its not that they are not happy with windows 7 users, its just they are given more people the chance to upgrade to windows 10 without paying. Also a good way to get the disappointed users who didn't want windows 8 to still get a new operating system If anything, windows 10 is more like windows 7 than windows 8 would ever be!

Notice most of the drag bikes are the same now? Busa's with turbos and/or NOS. For me, they have killed the drag strip for bikes! I liked seeing the old oil burners 1100's, 2-stroke triples etc and being completely shocked by them! Now you kind of know what to expect when you see a busa pull up at the start line. Cracking pics Dave
