  1. had three ***** in a pickup look behind at me then as i was close ( feet from tail lights ) move right over to block me... good test of the brakes on the domi! guy to the left of him was calling him names and moved over to let me go, Don't know how i keep my cool some times and surprised i haven't hit anything off cars. I just shake my head and carry on. Well was one time a t**t in a Audi tried to ram me into the central barrier three times on one ride home, his wife was screaming and he continued to try and have me off, probs one of the only times i was scared, angry and wanted to quit riding. Was following my dad a few weeks back after picking up my bike from being serviced, 4 women pulled out on him in less than a mile, one ass in a BMW tried to force him into the central divider and an audi made sure he couldn't past. Around here it seems to be anyone driving anything, yet when stuck in traffic and people do more, its mostly women drivers that move out the way and let me pass, even if i can't physically fit through
  2. He was after a snail for his rolling coal trainspotter
  3. swap the bulb for a better one. I remember mine being shocking before slapping an osram bulb in
  4. like PNCB, if you make a claim, they take a year off either way! how the hell is that protected?
  5. got name of the place in brum? might be able to sort a discount out for you
  6. one reason why i am not planning on taking car test, they want over £1500 to insure me on a car worth £500. Even being put on my parents insurance bumps it up to over £2000!!
  7. same as on the way to where i work. People dump bin bags full of stuff, car parts, sheets of wood etc.
  8. £12 to get in, should be a good day if you like drift cars or gymkhana http://gymkhanagrid.com/portfolio/gymkhana-grid-2015-final-now-heading-for-uk-showdown/
  9. http://www.ventura-bike.co.uk/fitments/KTM/522-990_superduke.aspx <--- wouldn't that be the easiest place to get them from?
  10. whats wrong with a big backpack :P
  11. My gloves, jacket and backpack are all hi-viz for winter riding gear and my helmet glows blue in the dark, and riding a bike thats white at the front soon gets people moving out the way
  12. Does sound familiar! Someone did a drag race of a MT-09 compared to a busa but no times were posted. Shame really lol. I know what you mean about some bikes lacking the poke when you need them, thats one thing i like with the MT-09 ( unless your in 6th, still need to find someone local to remove the restriction from the ECU ) There are other bikes i would have tomorrow, but sadly my neck doesn't agree with heavier bikes ( hence why I've gone through so many in such a short time )
  13. I'd still keep my MT-09 over a busa or b-king any day. ( personal preference ovc! ) 0-60mph there is 0.1 of a second in it both in standard trim, the weight difference is night and day, and the top speed is still pretty darn healthy for a sub 1000cc, naked bike ( and restricted in top for that matter ). You know there is a turbo kit out in aus for the MT-09 that puts it at just shy of 200bhp at the rear?
  14. by the sounds of things, they really screwed up the tracer! None of the issues are on the SR
  15. Oh yes!! my MT-09 is smooth as silk, and our old FJR ( 12/13 reg's ) were smooth as well. Still get the nice clunk into first though lol.
  16. just looking through the owners manual of my bike.. This is rather comical! This motorcycle is fitted with super-high-speed tires. what the hell is a super-high-speed tyre! rofl
  17. Have a look at the 15+ crossrunner as well. More power than the old VFR800 engine, v-tec moved slightly higher in the revs so it doesn't annoy the shit out of ya! seat is much nicer than the tracer.
  18. Owned the a MT-09 SR for just under a year. Same thing most people complain about can be sorted out VERY easily.. suspension is fine once setup correctly. Did you try riding it in B mode or leave it in standard or A? B is smooth as anything!! A ride on mine would probs change your opinion ( if you can put up with the noise from a full 3-1 arrow race exhaust ) lol I have got a o2 optimizer fitted which richens it up a fair bit, and 50.6mpg if hooning in A mode isn't bad fuel economy!
  19. piss me off as well.. Surprised no one has been pulled over or been done for impersonating a police officer.
  20. Anyone fancy a project bike? I've got a NX650 starts, runs and pulls like a f'in train, sounds bloody brilliant with the arrow dakar exhaust ( baffle fell out in the garage ) Every now and again it will smoke a little on start up, which is common on these bikes ( new valve stem seals at £20 fixes it ) doesn't actually seem to be using any oil though. I'm thinking of getting a 250 for work as it will cost me next to nothing to run
  21. and mine Funny how things break and fall off AFTER the MOT.
