  1. the NX650 has been sold, and my newer winter bike is getting some love Stage 2 air filter kit going in, de-snorkled and a 2-1 link pipe as the current 2-2 doesn't line up very well! Should make the bike even more interesting
  2. July is one hell of a busy month for me, but hoping I can make a ride out this year.
  3. The company is marked down as "Proposal to Strike Off" as well. First Notification Of Strike-off Action In London Gazette (section 652) https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/08742698 By the looks of things, this would be the third time his setup as a LTD company for something and got out of it fast. Not doing bad for a 31 year old Mr Szymanski! Nice house as well.. Wonder how he managed it Clicky
  4. I still think midlands is the best choice for everyone, but the roads are better t'up north!
  5. Errr Merrr Gerrd! Didn't you have a TL ?
  6. it does look more grey in direct sunlight but a typical british day, it looks more black
  7. Gotta say, either the Subaru dark gray mettalic ( very nice ) or the BMW space gray ( i think that what it was anyway ) would be my choice. I did parts of my XJR in the BMW gray purely for the red/purple/green metallic flake that was in it This is the scooby gray:-
  8. kind of looks like a cross between a Austin Martin and a Mondeo
  9. Same here, one of the reasons i hardly ever go on ride outs. I enjoy it more being on my own ( and with the misses on the back ) than in groups. A couple others is fine though.
  10. Wore the sole out of them a few months back, I think iirc they lasted 3 years of every day use. Not bad for a £30 pair of boots! The boots themselves were fine but couldn't be bothered to get them resoled.
  11. Surprised the Wellingborough one is still running. They sold me a bike and after complaining about a few issues they decided to tell me it had been dropped... Triumph done a £1200 voucher for new triumphs to use on clothing and other stuff, what did Wellingborough triumph do? Nothing except say they have knocked £1200 off new bikes! best of it is, they charge i think £160 for first service, unless you bought the bike from them and then they will do it for £60! Piss take or what!
  12. went on a few months back and was laughing at some of the stuff on there. not as much info as there used to be, just seems to be full of people crap talking lol
  13. They been back three times now, people down the road spotted them and by the time they got ready to chase them, they'd gone. Not taken anything and hopefully won't.
  14. All down to respect and discipline, none of which the parents have, so the kids won't either! Grow up thinking everything they are doing is fine.
  15. As posted the other day, some scum broke the lock on our garage trying to steal the dominator. If the low life scum actually got off there ass and aren't like the rest of us, they might not steal.
  16. Spotted a couple of "chavs" on a 125 the other night, they were in front of me at the lights near where i live, so i turned down the road, next thing i know they done a U-turn and were riding past slowly looking at my bike. One way in and one way out of our road. Woke up this morning to see the lock smashed in. Excuse my language here but why do these chav scum f******g c**t's have to go around stealing sh*t?
  17. Really starting to hate the sunshine pictures now..
  18. theres a few good ones out there. Brook suspension K-Tech MH Racing are just a few
  19. same, don't want to take the MT out as the salt will soon wreck the shit quality finish these Japanese bikes seem to have these days.
  20. So its suddenly decided to run perfectly fine again.. I'm starting to hate bikes
  21. breathers are fine, no fuel pump on these, was jetted/tuned for K&N filter and the arrow dakar exhaust, jets were replaced like for like so no issues there. only thing I can think of at the moment is the mixture is off causing the issues but you can turn the engine off, start it again and it runs completely different. Seriously starting to annoy the crap out of me.
  22. Not electrical issue, the reg/rec is a year or so old, brand new battery a week ago, all electrics seem to be fine. Just this damn idling issue. Was after £900 but will take a bit less for it.
  23. Damn thing is a royal pain in the ass! the noises seem to have gone, hardly any smoke when you first start it, if any at all so unless the two were connected and something was stuck, i dunno! Anyway, now I'm dealing with the idle being all over the damn place. One minute you're chilling at the lights, 1500rpm ( possibly higher than it needs to be for a single )idle then it jumps to 2000 or drops to just over 1000rpm. Other times it will be idling at 1500-2000rpm and just die for no bloody reason! Jets have been replaced, the boot is fine and not cracked/leaking. The bike was sold and running fine but the guy couldn't collect it till end of the month ( no good to me ), but the last week or so its playing up. It runs perfect apart from this annoying idle issue! Check the vid and see what you think. Would be good to get some feedback as to what it might be causing it.
