  1. Suzuki 1 and 2 on the gp grid. unbelievable. great race for kent too.
  2. come home from work Friday found a little blackbird chick on my drive not quite fully feathered so it could not fly and very weak, put it in a polishing cloth in side a box to warm it up tried to feed it with a syringe but it was just to weak. so left him to warm through see if it comes round which it did and started taking food which was boiled egg biscuit and milk mushed up and in a syringe dripped into its mouth. Saturday morning he was chirping and hopping about my son fed it and kept it clean but it seemed a bit weak again when I came in from work later so I fed it some more and it seemed to respond. couple of hours later it was proper weak and barely moving I feared the worst and unfortunately later that evening it died.. we tried our best but I think it was out of the nest too long. lifes frail innit.
  3. well to top it off my back went at work sat morning f.f.s. we are bloody chocca with work too, looks like I will just have to pile the painkillers in and crack on luckily its just a muscle strain as I have had it before, get some dodgy looks off customers ect when it spasms and I shout though.

  11. just got back in after a ride on my pushbike around local country lanes and some cycle tracks , you don't half miss an engine when riding into a headwind my legs are like jelly.
  12. iannone what a battler, told ya to watch out for him, mind how the feck did he get away with that start, looks like Lorenzo has his mojo back too. I also liked the part where jack miller was asked about riding a gp bike round this track and he said "I wish I had a pressure sensor on my sphincter.
  13. metallic bits floating about sound ? that's a new one on me but it doesn't take much to pull off the clutch cover to have a look at the basket and plates. like its been said there plenty who will take but not many that will give back. as for kids I would be a lot wealthier if I had none.
  14. I used to work for vardys when they were taken over by parent company pendragon who trade as evans halshaw amongst others. they don't give a f**k about people all they are bothered about is targets and profit. all big dealers are the same now. find a small garage with decent skilled trades people and stick with them they tend to care more about there service and reputation. or buy a big van get it signed up with a something like" evans halshaw sold me a potentially dangerous car" park it legally outside there showroom the feckers will soon sort something out. if you diy mike at least you know its done right.
  15. nice one m8 we'll check them out next ride.
  16. great pics dave told ya you would have a good day. I should do more stuff like that just don't get the time now.
  17. well that's what you get for living in the tropics.
  18. just bought this today uprated brakes bars new gear cassette tyres and chain absolutely mint. gave the wifes bike a quick clean and check over been out with her on our local cycle tracks for an hour she's going to be aching tomorrow. just started some weight training again this week the bike should build up my cardio as my knees are to bad to run now. might even do the coast to coast this year.
  19. you will have a great day at santa pod dave we went some years ago when the finals of the nationals was on 5000 horse power dragsters howlin down the strip take some ear defenders or plugs they are feckin loud. what I really liked about it was you could walk round the pits and get up close to the cars and bikes and the owners will all talk to you. stand at the end of the strip behind the start line for a while but don't wear a white shirt you come away covered in bits of tyre the boys on the bikes are proper brave they squirm all over but rarely back off the power. you will get some great pics too if you stand on the hill beside the strip. hope the weather is good for you and get ready for some noise.
  20. dunno m8 but if it starts moonwalking I'm coming over to see it.
