  1. yes m8 bought quite a bit of stuff of them sensible prices for some quality gear, my sub should really have been more powerfull to handle my Marantz amp ,it would have been fine if it had not been cranked up to the max.
  2. Suzuki intruder https://flic.kr/p/ADGDLS was the new ducati diaval not there m8 think that's feet forward cruiser style now .
  3. checked the plug but theres very little wiring inside just printed circuit with loads of complicated stuff stuck to it probably not be viable to repair its only a couple of hundred quids worth. thanks stan its sods law when you chuck stuff out you always regret it somehow.
  4. okay so my home cinema sub woofer has not been working for a while, like since we went away to caravan for a weekend ,pesky kids!! so had a look at it and it had blown the 4amp slow blow fuse inside. as it was sunday went to pc world and curries which are next to each other, don,t sell fuses of any type in either store so I says to the salesman in curries ok so practically everything you sell in here depends on fuses but you don,t sell them. the cheecky fecker say's to me "we sell TV's but we don't sell the programs" part of me felt like dropping the tit there and then, only my sensible side and the wife being there stopped me. anyway got the fuses from maplin in the town but the sub keeps blowing them as soon as its turned on, looks like a trip to richer sounds for a new one. bugger.
  5. scrobe light?? is that a cross between scrotum and strobe light ,don't fancy that at the docs.

    hello

    allreet gary. still wallpapering bikes.
  7. is there some thing on radio 2 which explains your dreams, I would like to here what they have to say about this one. nothing more frustrating than a wet or horny dream and not being able to get back into it after waking up.
  8. I'm with dave on this one the couple of close calls I have had I could have been covered in flashing neon the thick blind feckers would have still not seen me.
  9. well I never believe all the hype when a new bike comes out, seems lots of manufacturers have lumpy throttle action nowadays trying to keep emissions down at the cost of rideability. one of my m8's had the 650 versys up Scotland and I followed him for a while I could not believe it was the 650 what a good motor, and seemed to handle well the 1000 must be great. got to be worth a try.
  10. bollicks , he was intent on killing him and would have used any tool to do it ,just so happens he had a gun. if he had used a car would you try ban cars. unfortunately you can't legislate for people like him, perhaps if the americans had a decent mental health system in place they could spot these people and the threat they pose. even if they banned the sale of guns now , it would change nothing just too many people own guns in America. I'm not a gun freak don't own a gun although I have been field and sport shooting I also have American friends one of them being a qualified gun coach who myself and my sons have been coached by when we visited them, these are decent law abiding people doing something they love. as usual they are being tarnished by a minority. sorry to get on my high horse about this but it pisses me off when people think banning something will fix the problem when it obviously will not.
  11. well I reckon if you can read it you goin too slow..
  12. you would have loved it m8, come with us next year.
  13. cheers dave, we ran a different system for the rides, we had a fast group and a slower group and every one loved it, we all could have route maps if you wanted but the route was explained before we set off and we set certain meeting or coffee break points at suitable places where the slower group would meet up with the fast group again you could swop groups if you wanted but if you dropped off the fast group you either carried on to next meeting point on your own or let the slower group catch you and drop back in with them. caters for all bikes and riding styles and works well with a big group of riders.

  15. well I'm off to jockland this morning weather looks to be ok, be back on sunday to update on my weekend. see ya.
  16. quick shifter just means you will hit the limiter quicker, put a smaller sprocket on the bag to change the gearing slightly.
  17. I do a lot of these old bmw's for a lad who buys and sells them, build quality is better than the ones they churn out now, bullit proof if looked after and for an old bike they can motor on and handle ok. thought you had got rid of the classic bike bug m8.
