  7. Looks good mate!! You're going to have to ride it at some point this year you know, and photograph it, just to prove it does go outside
  8. Congrats on her passing the test mate Can sympathise. Like Macie previously, both of mine paid over a grand for their first year. I know the nephew had a 1.1 Fiesta, a Mark 1, and had to pay over £2k for his first year! To change to a Crosa mid way through the year they wanted an ADDITIONAL £2,300 Where are kids supposed to get that sort of money
  9. We're getting a good little crowd on this now Hopefully the worst of the weather will have passed over by then as well But it is the Lakes
  10. Didn't find them ones, but the others looked bigger than the 7ltr capacity. Shall see what the answer comes back at and will sort from there. Thanks for the info
  11. mate. Nice one On both counts mate . As annoying as these people are, not worth losing everything you've worked for over him.
  12. Price hasn't gone down, its gone up! there fetching anything from £39,000 up to £60,000 lol Knew I should have bought one to sell on in a few years!?
  13. if you have them Mike , i will always pick them up for you m8 Cheers Dave. See what the answer is
  14. Agree with the posts on here. We need some form of deterrent
  15. Talking to a lad at work yesterday who's mate was hit by a woman in a car as he was getting into his transit van. He was parked up, in a 40 zone, about 100m or so from the womans home. She hit the van, put the guy in a cast for about 7 months and he, apparently, will never drive again and also managed to write off the transit van She claimed that the low sun obscured her vision and she didn't/couldn't see the van/driver. She escaped any substantial form of prosecution Don't know how the claim for damages/compensation went, but nothing for the actual incident itself. Looks like it's a valid claim should the need arise. To me, that is I always thought that if you couldn't see or had the sun in your eyes you were supposed to slow down and take extra care? I will also point out that this woman was married to a Policeman
  16. It's a nice looking bike without doubt, and the front does look very nice But it's still a lot to pay. Mind you, treat it as an investment and you could make of it. Can't see the price going down much on these
  17. Correct on the location Got a few showers on the way over, via Richmond/ Catterick, but nothing too long. Just annoying Ducati was nice, and the tyre was well worn across the width of it, so he'd been riding it "properly"
  18. Managed a quick run out. Few pics: My Dad thinks he overheard the guy say he'd paid about £40k for the Desmodici (right spelling?) At that, think I'd have it in a glass case
  19. Make things like crash bungs, bar end weights and pistons for calipers. i know "what they can do " but I couldnt do it Same for me. I'd love one, but if I try to make anything my hands turn into great big chunks of meat with all the dexterity of a JCB
  20. Are you sure they're only 7ltr capacity? Sounds small? Just had a quick look and most of the panniers, even the sports ones, seem to come in at around 48 ltr (total) capacity? I know you've said make an offer, but roughly how much you looking for? If I said £20, would I be taking the pish? If they're the "normal" capacity I'd be interested, but would have to organise a run down to collect them. No problem in that, but might not be until later in the month, or possibly early August. If you're okay with that, I'll have them.
  21. Nice one. Meet another of the northern crowd
