  1. Point well made I'm fairly urban so generally only see them on a weekend while I'm out and about.
  2. Good to see a familiar face back on the forum (Now we'll see if anyone notices I'm away next week?)
  3. Looks to be getting comfortable on that You sure you'll be able to keep up
  4. Theres a Premier Inn at Heathley Park, Groby Road, Leicester, Leicestershire OR Leicester Road, Glenfield, Leicester, Leicestershire or a Travel Lodge Leicester Thrussington 8.3 miles from Leicester city centre OR Leicester Hinckley Road 3.6 miles from Leicester city centre OR Leicester Markfield 7.7 miles from Leicester city centre (I think this one is just of the M1 so may not be ideal?) Alternatively, a Travel Lodge Stratford Upon Avon 16.7 miles from Coventry city centre OR Stratford Alcester 19 miles from Birmingham city centre Premier Inn Payton Street, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire OR Stratford Road, Hockley Heath, Solihull, West Midlands Don't know whether any of these are suitable? I'll let you lads down there confirm exactly where. I really don't mind the travel down (company car and fuel card so zero fuel cost for me). Find something central for you lads and I'll meet you there
  5. Good morning Ronnie. Glad to see everyone is concerned and looking after you well. When you looking at doing the CBT? And you doing the direct access course straight after? Hang on, you're not old enough so you'll have to live with the 125 for a few years? Shame, but perils of youth. Keep us posted with how things are. House looks good. Any plans to extend should a family arrive? Hang on, can bearded dragons type?
  6. Glad the op was easier, and better, than expected. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery and mobility in the arm and shoulder
  7. Why? We've been nice already, can't be nice all the time he'll wonder what's wrong
  8. I think that says more about the people on here than the forum itself
  9. Just thought. Most people have a "bring a bottle" party. Couldn't you have a "bring a brillo" party and get the frame cleaned up?
  10. Hi Mike, I really am not Proficient at this restoring lark at all. I tend to make a plan of action and stick to it rigidly, only change direction if it's essential and put the hours in, even when you don't feel like it, always do something. Theres always a small job you can do sat in a chair, clean a clock or assemble something. Give it a go mate, you really dont have to spend a fortune, although it is fun buying nice parts. Gaz Would like to try it, but I don't have a garage at the moment, live in a flat, and my Mams garage already has three bikes in , so no room. May give it a go if move and get a garage. Should it happen, will let everyone know. Good luck in the "Restoration Race" You must get a place with a garage Mike as i have no where to park me Rizla when i come up I'm sure we'll sort something out when you manage to get this far north without passing out from lack of oxygen
  11. Good luck with the project. Looking forward to seeing the progress

  16. welcome , glad to have another one to boost the numbers of the two wheeled variety. Mind you, owning a free motorcycle breakdown company can't be much fun. That is what you said!?!?! 17. Glad you like Ronnie and good to see Ronnies settled right in As for his ride, wouldn't it be a Raptor?

  19. Understand mate. I generally get about half an hour on the morning while having breakfast. It's why most of my posts are between 06:30 and 07:10 . Bit like this one
  20. Shame really that it's one of those "slow maroon" ones (I think it's about as fast as mine )
