  1. Sounds like a cracker mate Looked good in the flesh and sounds like it rides even better
  2. Looks good Robbie Still looks like a little bit to do? Have debated getting a sleeve, but haven't found a design I like for a sleeve, and office worker so doesn't quite go with the suit, shirt and tie
  3. MrsStue11 . Have a great day. Relax, sit back and enjoy yourself. It's all okay in Stue11s capable hands
  4. Congrats on the bike Nice to see some good luck got a change. Will wait to see the pics
  5. Good move mate . Get back to getting that really stubborn "Rizla" stain off the bike
  6. Just a brief note in recognition. A lot of people take a lot of ribbing and jokes on the site, which is okay given the spirit of the site. I believe Dave receives more than his fair share and takes it all in good humour and spirit. I think it should be recognised as not everyone would do the same. Well done Dave. I think, as has been said, Forums are a reflection of the creator and the team he has working with him, which explains the success. Massive congratulations on the Forum, even getting a Swedish Branch open as well
  7. Thanks for the heads up. Will try and point him the right way. Must admit I thought he would have kept the VTR, given the look, speed and handling. But he's 24 and knows everything Cannot tell em Mike mind you im still the same now but wasn't sure whether I should say anything
  8. Thanks to all for the comments and quotes. Will pass all the information along. I'm in agreement with it all. For me I would keep the bike. The colour scheme is fantastic, handling and speed are more than enough. Why would you sell it? May keep it, sell mine and see if I can pick up an older cheap tourer or such. Will speak to him, and my Dad, see what they say. Again, thanks to all.
  9. welcome . You'll have heard of us all so know what to expect. Pics of the bike uploaded yet?
  10. Sorry to hear about that. As says above, pack a few things, take the two wheels and go see everyone. Chance to catch up with people you may not have seen for a little while. Hope you get sorted and will catch up when you get back.
  11. Nice job mate I always think birthday pressies that people want are he best. Doesn't matter whether they cost £5 or £500. If it's what they want, then it works!!
  12. I think he's looking at an R1, possibly a Blade. He can ride it as he's already left an M3 trailing behind him, so it can move if you have any affection for him steer him towards the blade, saw the new R1 at wsb and its not pretty, the blade on the other hand is a stunner. the vtr looks dead nice btw. Thanks for the heads up. Will try and point him the right way. Must admit I thought he would have kept the VTR, given the look, speed and handling. But he's 24 and knows everything
  13. Congrats on the achievement I managed to get down to 15st 10lb at one point, but went back up. Reckon I've got about a stone to shift so that's my next target.
  14. I think he's looking at an R1, possibly a Blade. He can ride it as he's already left an M3 trailing behind him, so it can move
  15. My cousin is a spark, he's not long since finished his Photovoltaic course. Appparantly the "Fits" will be reducing next year to below 30p. Some of these companies may well change their "rates" at that time. As said before, check thoroughly before signing up.
  16. Didn't think he'd do it, but the young 'un is looking to sell his Firestorm. He's looking for something faster . Anyway, for those who haven't seen it, link with some photos below. I don't believe it's got anything specially modded apart from the paint job and end cans. I'll see if I can get a video clip of it running, sounds good . I did consider keeping it, but no good to me . He's looking for £1,800 for it, I believe it's a 99 on a 'W' plate. It's got the usual age marks etc, good bike for it's age but it's not immaculate, it has been ridden. (Before anyone thinks they can bag a bargain that no-one knows about, it's NOT an SP1. The decals were on it when we bought it. It's still a quick bike ) If anyone wants any more info let me know and I'll find out. Pics of Bike
  17. Could be both (but I think Daves age. Wools been around for a LONG time )
  18. Looks and sounds good I think it's the same pipe my Dad has put on his 1200, his sounds like a jet fighter when he goes past (obviously never past 70 )

    Hello boys

welcome Sounds like you know a few on here so you know what they're like Never mind, some memories do fade Take your time on the two wheels, you'll soon get the hang of it again
  20. Once you get your new bike and gear etc, drop back in to see them. Bid them a hearty hello and ask them how much commission they would have made on the sale? While they dumbstruck .. and mention that you'll be letting your fellow biker friends exactly what a pack of disrespectful rs they are
  21. Have I suddenly wandered into Hutchs WWF forum here?
