    hellloooooo

    Hello and welcome fella
  2. If you mean the draw for that hideously neg chrome 'Busa then the promo ended on the last day of May, apparently. See the page in google's cache here: Linky
  3. Bargain mate Although it looks like it has an uglier back end than the B-King
  4. Isn't putting a disc lock on at a bike meet a bit, err, excessive?
  5. Bad luck, but good news that he is pretty much OK, could have been a lot worse. You're right about the write-off, without a doubt . Pass on a GWS please.
  6. Excellent No substitute for time on the bike, she'll soon be addicted
  7. SECTION 59 was brought in by the Government to target ‘vehicles used in a manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance’ so that will apply to about 75% of people I see driving the, cuz they annoy the out of me. Basically, it's a 'if you're naught again, we will take your toy away' from dibble.
  8. You either get voice operated ones (vox) or you have to push a button to talk (PTT). The mike and earphones go inside your lid. Some (usually cheaper ones) have a little PMR unit that you drop in your jacket pocket or lob under the seat. The modular ones also allow you to connect to an mp3 player, mobile, sat nav, coffee maker etc as do the bluetooth ones, assuming your bits are bluetooth enabled [1] Have had three in the past (none of the bluetooth ones though), the Autocom was miles better for bike to bike than the other two cheapo ones, plus was hardwired in so no messing about with batteries. Dunno about rider to pillion though, never saw the need myself. [1] Be wary of satnavs here, just because you can connect your mobile to it via bluetooth DOES NOT automatically mean that your satnav *transmits* directions over blootooth. I know, I bought 3 different ones before I found one that did.
  9. Nice pics Chad, glad you had a good day out. I'm sure I can see Dave's next bike in there....
  10. Plenty of time between now and then to get some hours in on the bike
  11. Not my thing, but nicely done all the same
  12. Dave, just get a bit boozy and disorderly every night, nice comfy cell until breakfast time although they might get a bit stroppy doing it 11 nights on the bounce....
  13. I think I'd sooner do a tent than pay £200 a night for those converted shipping container cubby hole things....
  14. I like to get rid when they square off, unless I'm in poverty-mode, in which case they stay until they get to borderline legal levels of tread.
  15. That's a biggie Best wishes for a speedy and successful recovery
  16. Well done fella, I've got that book as well after a few people at work quit after reading it.
  17. They all do that sir. 8K over 3 years sounds a lot, but it's percentage of initial cost lost, that's the big giveaway toward total cost of ownership. Could be worse mate, a Maybach 62 lost £150K, (or 42%) in a year
  18. its motul packed for heine gerike ive had it in bikes before and its fine We use it, with no probs. Probably wouldn't use it in a new or new-ish bike, but for owt else it seems fine...
  19. If your bike has a centre stand, then 3 bags of sand on the back of the seat work well No centre stand? Abba stand is good. Or a trolley jack under the sump (if you can get one in) with axle stands for added stability, or a ratchet strap around the front of the frame and up to a roof joist. All done, and all work
  20. What a muppet. Everyone knows that you only use one hand to text whilst riding, you need the other one for rolling fags......
  21. glad you had a good trip, you are evidently a weather god
  22. Carbone Lorraine or OE on road bikes for me. Had EBC when I put EBC discs on but didn't like them much TBH. Don't bother shelling out for proper 'race' pads, rubbish when cold, mostly rubbish in the wet.
