  1. Well I can get the EBC friction plates for the Aprilia RSV 1000 R Tuono RR100 2007-2011 133 BHP, yes.
  2. Hmmm, well the EBC look up I'm using, says that the clutch plates [part no. CK6680] fits the following: Aprilia RSV 1000 R Tuono RPB00 2002-2003 125 BHP, Aprilia RSV 1000 R Tuono RPB09 2004 125 BHP, Aprilia RSV 1000 R Tuono RPB09 2005 125 BHP, Aprilia RSV 1000 R Tuono RR100 2007-2011 133 BHP, Aprilia RSV 1000 R Tuono RRL00 2006 133 BHP, Additionally, Surflex and Barnett (both racing clutch manufacturers) list the same part number for their clutches for Tuonos between 2002 and 2008. Now, I'll be the first to admit that catalogues aren't always right, but these 3 at least think that the 06 and 07 plates are the same. Strangely enough, Aprilia list two different sets of clutch friction plates - one for 2002-2005 (part no AP8106867) and one for 2006-2009 (part no AP0659800).
  3. Chad, if it's the Aprilia RSV 1000, R, Tuono, 2007-2011, then I can do you EBC friction plates and springs + the clutch cover gasket for quite a bit less than that - but can't get a diaphragm.
  4. Depends whether you are happy with the performance of the stock master cylinder and/or whether it's a weak point on your particular bike model, but it would be either new seals or an upgraded M/C for me.
  5. It could be worse - they could have got Ant & Dec to do it... Not a fan of Evans, but as long as he doesn't present it like TFI Friday I think it may well be OK and freshen it up a bit. The 'specials' going downhill and irreverent really killed it for me - racing a ferry to Norway is one thing, but ignoring the Pan American Highway to do a 100 mile detour to drive over some rocks was daft for the sake of being daft....
  6. Unlucky Chad, hope you get a decent break soon mate.
  7. Ohlins have issued a safety recall on certain batches of their TTX shock absorber. If you have one, put your part and serial numbers into the link below, and you can see whether yours is affected. Ohlins TTX recall checker
  8. OK, so Valter Moto they 'aint, but if anyone is after some cheap paddock stands, M&P are knocking some out at £15 a pop: http://www.mandp.co.uk/products/list/Workshop/Universal-Paddock-Stands/Draper?utm_source=210415&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=draper-paddock-stands
  9. Wishing you a belated Happy Birthday mate. Glad you had a good day
  10. Proper clove oil applied with a cotton bud is the most effective thing to ease the pain until your gob shop can fit you in.

Hello fella. All the best for your next test
  12. Pah, if he stopped mucking around with telly work long enough, he might have a crack at a TT win....
  13. In short, I thought that it was a bit pants, with nowt much to do other than look at the stalls. Craig Jones rode round in circles for 5 minutes on a Victory three piece sofa and half a dozen names had a couple of little races on 125s. Things I leant were: The Kawasaki H2 is uglier than an ugly thing that hit every branch when it fell out of the ugly tree. The Triumph 675R still feels like a 400 to sit on and the Sprint GT has lost a bundle of appeal from the ST guise. I couldn't get a better deal on an Arai RX7 at the show than I could elsewhere :-( But I picked up another Venhill pressure gauge and a naff Trick-Moto paddock stand for a few quid off the usual rate. Had a good look at the Abba Sky Lift, but concluded that I won't be getting one. Can't think of anything it lets you do that paddock stands won't - other than wheel the bike around - and if that's what I want then I would get the quicker and more stable 1-Jac (which is still twice the amount I'd be happy to pay for it) so for that sort of money I'll go with a normal bike ramp for the foreseeable future. The Yamaha team boss is eager to get more bikes onto club grids and will be putting together a "very good" package for next year, and Mr. Aprilia offered a *really* tempting deal on a new RSV4 RF - So much so that if they don't blow up every week one will definitely be on the short list for 2016 if the residuals hold up. Other than that, well, it was a day out, but I'd sooner spend a day at Newark auto jumble.....
  14. I would have thought that 30 quid would get it plugged in, and if it's just the TPS sensor needing adjustment it's a two minute job.
  15. The shipping forecast keeps me on the edge of my seat
  16. Yeah am going on the Sunday, but not convinced it looks that good.
  17. Last time I went it was too cold to let the bikes race - which they announced two minutes after we paid at the gate
  18. I like the look of that - providing you can buy something to cover up that ghastly trellis.
  19. Oooff that's a mess :-( Plus a lad died at Cadwell at the weekend, and one down at the Manx as well :-( This biking lark is a bit of a bugger at times, but I still wouldn't take up knitting instead. RIP to them all.
