  1. One of the problems of identifying the location is the fact that there were *lots* of those art deco style corner-standing cinemas built.
  2. Ho yuss, the stench of the sewage works and now this eyesore. With any luck it will fall onto the Hobby Horse!
  3. The description for the the post category draws the line quite well I believe - "Personal Attacks Will Result In Administrative Action Strickly No Pornography or Racist Material (please do not read posts in this section if easily offfended )" The original post wasn't contravening those guidelines. Personally I would draw the line at those utter twisted and sick individuals that try to suggest that one should eat the skins on jacket potatoes Now can we get back to talking rubbish about bikes?
  4. Yoko Ono has been signed up for the next series of 'I'm a celebrity, Get me out of here!' I reckon she'll do well - she can live off a dead Beatle for thirty years....
  5. So did I, but one persons immensely funny will be another one's Morecambe and Wise, but that's the way it will always be I suppose. It would be a bit of a rule bender in the general section, but think it was fair enough to be posted in the correct section.

    Hello.

Hello and welcome to the playpen
  7. That was close - everyone knows that you shouldn't have a 250 Ninja that isn't green....
  8. No worries Dave, give me a shout if she decides to go shopping instead
  9. What time are you aiming for Dave? I may be able to help....
  10. Sprite Muskateer 5 berth, with end kitchen and full awning
  11. The only real bag of spanners I've had the misfortune to own was a Kawasaki GPz305. About as much power as a de-restriced Honda c50 and belt drive to add amusement, bought as a little project to fettle over the winter. It looked a right pile of junk when I went to fetch it, so I did the sensible thing and made the missus ride it back (character building exercise ). It started smoking heavily about ten miles from home and caught fire a little bit on the A46. Once extinguished, I displayed excessive gallantry and limped it the few miles back home. It loitered around for a couple of weeks, but it had absolutely no redeeming features whatsoever so I got rid.
  12. Got to be a good buy for the money A bit of fettling and that grin you're wearing will turn into a great big smile!
  13. Not a lot to say to that but at least you guys tried.
  14. ABE aren't a bad value option. http://www.allbikeengineering.co.uk/index.html I think Talon were doing 3 discs for £200 recently, although I've heard that they are not at all good in the wet.
  15. Saddest to see go: My E1 ZZR600. Had it for a few years, put over 50K on it doing a few RBR's and extended trips round Europe. Miss the most: My 1990 Yamaha TZR250 2MA. Immense fun wringing it's neck
  16. Congrats on your purchase Dave Will you be keeping that bandit as your winter hack?

    Hello

welcome to the forum fella, it's a nice place to be.
  18. That's well done isn't it. 8 months to put together though!
  19. thanks for your advice Paul AOL *really* suck big time with this kind of thing. Have you been into your router settings and checked that an automatic firmware update hasn't been done etc? (Although IIRC AOL *really* didn't want to give you the settings to access the router) Dave, if you haven't got it fixed I can drop round sometime with my lappy and a spare (wired) router to see if we can kick it better.
  20. That's bad news Rose, but at least he will mend. Tell the clumsy oaf to GWS and rib him mercilessly about his ditch surfing
  21. "....and you had better stick to that one or Nanny will be renting the Fiat again..."
