I ask that you pray with me concerning distractions. I've been having alot of them lately, and I just don't seem to be getting my focus--and it disturbs me! This has never happened to me before in a school setting and I'm feeling weird about it. I know that this is a tactic from the enemy so pray with me against the strongholds of the enemy! As Cholette says focus on your kids and especially getting yourself together so that you'll be great for a guy period! Let God continue to shape you and heal you completely. (I've been there so I can understand!) Just remain friends and be open (dont prejudge him or think "could this be my husband? I'm preaching to myself now!) You never know what will happen! First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you for your input, suggestions, and encouragement--its been a blessing! I know that from the time I've joined the site, there have been a few "punches" here and there that've been thrown!lol, even some "chaotic moments". But God is so faithful that through it all, every single time, we've come out on top and the site has STILL been blessed and untouched by the negativity! This site is such a blessing and we as people of God want to help it to continue to be. Many times, we voice what are only our thoughts, or opinions on a dream. That's why we ask you to pray about what we said. not "Thus Saith the Lord". We have to be careful to make sure that we have understood what God is saying. :afro: This is exactly right Hislightbeam. This site is to "help", not to hinder anyone in anyway. Inspite of God speaking to us and through us as moderators and seasoned members, we still have to seek God for ourselves! Aint nothing like that personal connection!! Remember: SATAN IS THE ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN! Its his job to cause discord, confusion, and bitterness among people. The bible tells us to "not allow a bitter root to grow up within us" (which causes discontentment,disharmony, defilement, etc) We are to continue to follow peace (Hebrews 12:14-15). Since Satan is consistent in his job, we must do ours and continue to "fight the good fight of faith"(Philippians 3:13-14), encourage one another, and keep our head in all situations (being aware, knowledgable, and alert) (2 Timothy 4:5). I'm sorry! yes, people usually do let me know when I'm right on target about something and its a blessing! It lets me know that God is really working through me and in me for the benefit of others! HALELULIA!

I don't know if I'm sure of your question. The owner of this site: mia sherwood, encourages the members to "look at a person's fruit". In other words, when/if a person proclaims to you what they are feeling or hearing what God has said to him/her you need to make sure that other words that they've prophesied to others have come true as well. A person's lifestyle must line up with the word of God (consistency is key). A bad tree doesn't bear good fruit and a good tree doesn't bear bad fruit. The bible says in Deuteronomy 18:20-22 that "if what a prophet has said comes to pass when he/she says it will" then you know that that person is authentic. If you feel as though you have the gift, pray about it. I always encourage people to pray first and then allow God to speak to you about what you should say to an individual. God knows everything--so it makes sense to ask him. If you think that you may have a word for someone, step out in faith and say "What your thoughts" are. You have to continue to practice your gift by doing the proper fasting, praying and listening to God's guidance. This group has indeed been a blessing to me but not without a price! You will be blessed in the end for listening to God and not to your own imagination (as some false prophets have done in the past and even today). Hope this helps some :) blessings in Christ desiree

Well Christa The dream symbol dictionary is just used as a foundation for helping to figure out our dreams (and its general based on the fact that many may have similar symbols in their dreams-ie: babies, cars, etc). On this site we look to the bible as our standard and we use the holy ghost as our guide in helping us to determine interpretations. I found it to be helpful when you look at the entire context of the dream for a meaning instead of disecting each dream piece by piece using symbols (doing it that way most often times than not bring inaccuracy in interpretations).
