Dream: Sewing Machine I had a dream that I was at my mother's house (it was my house in the dream) and my ex lived next door. There was a gathering at his house and the guests were in a line being served but I can't remember if it was food that was being served or something else (I think something else but can't remember what it was). The servers were running low on the item so he and I left to get more of it. We got into my new car - it had two steering wheels and two sets of controls - so while I was in the passenger seat and he was in the driver's seat, it was really me who was driving. We drove over a bridge into an industrial area. He eventually got frustrated and suggested that I drive in the driver's seat but by then we had reached our destination. We entered this warehouse building - made of white brick (but old and worn) - and inside was like a storage center of clothing, cloth remnants for curtains, machinery, etc. Other people were there as well looking for goods, it was like a huge rummage center on several floors. I found some cloth and clothing and while waiting in a line to try them on I saw a sewing machine. It was an old model - the heavy, professional grade black ones from the 50's but I knew it was solid and would work well in doing the type of sewing that I needed to get done. Now I wanted to meet the owners so that I could negotiate a price with them but they were taking a long time to come up the floors to where we were. My ex asked me how I was going to fit it in my car since it was a sports car and I woke up... MANIFESTATION - The Lord gave me this dream to encourage me. My ex and I were going through a very challenging period and were no longer in a relationship. The dream reflected the fact that God was doing a new thing in me (new car), bringing something new into my life. The dual steering wheels reflect the fact that God was giving me more control in this relationship, there would be more balance. This was the first dream in a series where God was showing me that this relationship would be mended (and it has been mended ), which is why it doesn't close to an ending, it's more like the end of a scene vs the end of a story.

Dream: Get Out of My Space! I had a dream that I was driving into a parking space but there was a car in it that was trying to get out. It was like I wasn't giving it enough time to get out of the space, almost forcing it out...I felt impatient, like it needed to hurry up... MANIFESTATION - I was dealing with an personal issue that I had been praying for for some time now. I felt like the child looking through the oven window at the cake that's baking and seeing how good it looks but not realizing that the inside isn't fully baked yet. I wanted to take action but God was showing me that it wasn't time yet, I was being impatient so needed to step back. And it was good that I did because if I had moved forward and taken action, I would've been embarrassed!

Dream: Go to the Oak Tree and Make a Left Then... I dreamt that a friend of mine and I were driving separately and trying to get to the same destination but couldn't. We were on the phone and I was trying to give her directions but she didn't understand them. Then when I got the map out thinking I would be able to give her clearer directions, but the map was so detailed that it made it more difficult to explain to her because the roads were all country back roads and there were many turns that were going to have to be made - at street level the turns were going to be hard to recognize because there would probably not be street signs or if there were they would be covered by trees or brush. There was one main road called "Los Angeles Drive" or "Los Angeles Way"... MANIFESTATION - I have a friend who I had felt led to encourage and minister to. She was laid off from her job several months before this dream and was having a hard time of it because her savings has run out, her unemployment benefits were about to end as well and her next job hadn't arrived yet. I discovered that while she is a Christian, she appears to be into angel worship and humanist/new age stuff. In my last get together with her prior to this dream something didn't sit right in my spirit, there was too much talk of angels and not enough talk of Jesus. I felt led to invite her to my church and then treat her to brunch - I wanted to encourage and support her in this period because I know it's so easy to spiral into a state of depression and discouragement, I was trying to not let the enemy get a foothold. She agreed to go so we're attended services together and went to brunch afterwards. The dream was God letting me know that I shouldn't worry about her and wondering if my ministering to her will be fruitful...He's the one who will give her directions and her own map....in the dream I was giving her directions with my map but we each have our own roadmap (Jer 29:11)...the Holy Spirit is our GPS system....

Don't be discouraged, many things may have played a role in why you didn't hear anything. A lot depends on volume of inquiries, whether the staff is in on Fridays, etc. Keep in mind that in many instances you may not hear for a week or so, especially if the trip is scheduled a few months out...

Thanks for the bible verses, I was familiar with Genesis 6. I agree though, I wonder how much of this is overspiritualization because those other verses don't (to me) relate to the concept of a spirit spouse. Don't get me wrong, I have friends who have had to deal with a spirit spouse but I wonder if they were really dealing with Incubus/Succubus who are more established/well known demons identified in demonology..... But a red flag goes up for me when others state that when you dream of sex in a dream, that's a definitive sign of a spirit spouse - especially when it is suggested that the spirit spouse will even appear as one's spouse in the dream. If I'm happily married and have a dream about my spouse and I making love, I personally think that it borders on blasphemy to automatically connect that dream to demons. Let's not forget that sex is a gift from God to be enjoyed within the parameters of marriage, so to suggest that sex dreams are always demonic isn't appropriate - let Him be glorified, not Satan. My concern with this area is that it is easy to move into "demon creep", labeling things as demonic when they're not and adding things to scripture that aren't there. Spiritual warfare is real and the devil shouldn't be underestimated but we have to move in this area in lockstep with the Holy Spirit and under the direction of the Bible. It is very important that we have a spirit of discernment when dealing with the demons but we also have to have a spirit of discernment when dealing with the teachings of warfare. 2 Peter 2:1-3 Destructive Doctrines 1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does[a] not slumber.

Praise the Lord, aliveforjesus! I will certainly pray for you! May I ask...do you have a lawyer or some other form of legal representation? If you can't afford one, please seek the assistance of Legal Aid or some other free legal representation. You need an advocate to help protect your and your kids' legal rights in this situation. It's been some time since my own divorce and laws/processes differ from state to state but you and your children have rights. If the court has established that he has to pay $X for child and spousal support, he can't get around it. If he's not paying, let the court know ASAP. His wages can be garnished (actually, I think they call it withholding the support from his wages) in order to ensure that you receive your payments, that's what was done with my ex because he was trying to pay similar games. Even if there's a delay, you will recover those monies. There are two things that people can't get out of paying in the US - taxes and child/spousal support. If he continues to not pay amounts that were determined by the court, he risks the amounts being deducted from IRS refunds, not being able to renew his driver's license and car registration, not being able to get/renew a US passport, all the way up to jailtime. His attorney is giving him bad advice. He may not be capable of marriage and commitment but he's going to find that the courts will "assist" him in being capable of paying his child/spousal support obligations!

Hi Destine - PLEASE hang in there sweetie! Whatever you're going through, the Lord is with you. He will not forsake you under ANY circumstances. I pray that He would Himself evident to you, to just touch you in a way that lets you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's Him and that He loves you and is walking through this valley with you, in the name of Jesus. That He would bring peace to your spirit and healing to your wounds. There is no problem that is too big nor too controversial for God. I just wanted to add something. I've looked at your dreams and it's clear to me that God is speaking to you and letting you know that He's walking through this with you, that He loves you and is comforting you, and that He's going to right everything that is wrong in this season. When I went through a similar period a few years ago, God was soooo good to me. He showed me in my dreams how He felt about me and what He was going to do in my life but He also showed me the areas that I needed to be healed from, areas that I need to let go of, and things that I needed to do to move to the other side of the storm that I was in. Not only that, but He was also faithful to bring the right people to me that spoke the right words to me at the right time (of course He managed to do so...lol!). Seeing your dreams reminded me of that period in my life so I was wanted to leave this as an encouragement to you that God is with you in this and if God if for you, who can be against you? Going through what you went through isn't easy especially when you have a young one to care for. When I divorced my husband (who was also abusive and an adulterer), my son was 3 so I understand the challenges that you're facing now. I can only tell you that it will get better. Just continue to cast your cares on the Lord and know that He is a righteous and just God and He cares for you. Allow yourself to grieve so that He can heal you and position you where you can receive His blessings for you and move into all that He has for you. Again, it will get better with time.

Sorry, sometimes I feel like a prose volcano - the words just spew out and I can't stop.... Same thing is happening here in the States - the cost of good, healthy organic food can be prohibitive and it's hard to afford. Much easier and way cheaper to buy the bad food...You're right, I didn't specifically answer Cholette's question. Surgery should be an absolute last resort because that's disrupting the natural function of God's temple. Surgery is serious business, "they" position it as a simple, straightforward thing and it's not, more problems can be created through the same surgery. Also, life post-surgery is plain unpleasant - you basically can't eat except for extremely small portions and there are some foods that you'll never be able to eat again. Which leads to the other consideration that is often overlooked - unless the spiritual/emotional/physical issues that led to the obesity are dealt with, the weight WILL return despite the surgery. While on this protocol, I met several women on the FB page who had the surgery but gained the weight back - it didn't occur to me that regaining the weight was even a possibility until I met this group. Given this risk, I would really urge people to explore and try ALL other options (at least twice) before moving forward with the surgery. Connie and Linda - thanks!
