I finally went to the Doctor because symptoms got worse.
Delaine replied to hisbeauty4ashes's topic in A Praying Place
Hisbeauty4ashes, Remember God's benefits--he heals all your diseases (Ps. 103:3). Along with prayer, confessing God's Word concerning healing over you will help you to build faith in His Word (faith comes by hearing). Every name (including sickness) must bow to the name of Jesus and the power of His Word. I will certainly lift you in prayer, and I look to hear a good report! Delaine -

Resolution, I believe God allows it because He wants us to exercise our free choice. If He prevented everything from happening to us without our participation, then we would never grow in character, self-control, love, etc., and we would all be a bunch of pawns being manipulated on a string. It's all designed to urge us to pray and fight in the Spirit. When He sees us doing all the things that He has already equipped us to do, THEN He does what we CANNOT do. It's just like exercise. It takes resistance to help us develop muscles. It's the same way in the spiritual. Resist the devil and he will flee! God said to put on the whole armour of God that you may withstand the evil one. You have to FIGHT the good FIGHT of faith. It will take diligence and persistence, and if you don't FAINT, you will WIN! Love and blessings-- Delaine

RnestseekR, My heartfelt prayers are for you. There's something about not having enough finances that rocks you to the very core. It is truly a very depressing feeling. Along with depression always comes resentment and bitterness, because Satan takes advantage when we manifest fear in any form. However, THIS TOO SHALL PASS! I don't have a clue how God is going to do it, but His Word says He will never leave us nor forsake us, so we have to stand on His promise! Remember that Satan is the accuser of the brethren. He will take every opportunity to remind you of past failures. TAKE NO THOUGHT SAYING ANYTHING THAT AGREES WITH HIM. He is a liar! You will get through this valley experience. Just hold on and keep doing what you're doing, which is talking to your Father about your needs. After you've asked Him to supply your needs, then begin to thank Him in advance. He loves it when you do that! I will continue to pray until I hear from you otherwise. Much love!!! Delaine

Lifesdreamer, Jesus is a HABIT BREAKER!!!! One scripture that I confess regularly over my children is Isaiah 54:13--"And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord, and great is the peace of thy children." "Peace" translates as health, prosperity, favor and welfare. I will pray this over your nephew, and I encourage you to tell your family to do the same. I will believe with you that Satan will NOT have your loved one! Delaine

Connie, what a blessing! Mark 16:17,18 has been impressed upon me for the last several months. I believe it's time for us to walk out our "believing" so the signs can follow. I do not want to live my life as business as usual. I am desperate for my life to line up to God's expectations. I will continue to lift up your ministry, because we all may need to be delivered from something! Love and blessings Delaine

Resolution, The Bible never contradicts itself. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John tell the story from their own perspectives. It's just like two people seeing the same picture, but when they rehearse it to someone else, they tell it the way THEY saw it. I am not a Bible scholar, and I don't know everything there is to know about it. But I do know that if you really want to learn, get in a good Bible teaching church, and you will begin to understand how to study the Word so that it makes sense to you. I hope that helps! Delaine

Hello Dream Family! It is such a blessing to have brothers and sisters that I can connect with via cyberspace! I will have surgery on Thursday to remove a polyp from my colon that is cancerous and a few more inches of my colon. I have no anxiety about the whole thing. I totally trust God that I am healed. I only ask that you pray that I have a speedy recovery. I am expected to be in the hospital 3-5 days. I will certainly miss hearing from all of you during that time. Thank you in advance for your prayers! Delaine

Resolution, There is a distinct difference between miracles and healings. Miracles can only be done by God, and many times they are instantaneous. Miracles can manifest themselves by healings, but healings (without the miracle part) can be aided by time, doctors, yourself, etc., but ultimately God is the Healer. I don't have all the answers. If you always try to figure God out, you will only waste brain cells. If we could figure God out, He wouldn't be God. He only asks that we trust Him and believe Him. I came to the conclusion that if God is my creator, I have no right to rail at Him about anything. He is the potter. I am the clay. He calls all the shots, so our attitudes had better line up with His. I truly believe that when you settle down and get quiet before Him, He will speak to you, and you will KNOW His voice. Blessings-- Delaine

Resolution, The manifestation of healing is not always instantaneous. It is usually progressive. That's where we require faith..."for we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen. For the things that are seen (or felt) are temporary, but the things that are unseen are eternal." If you've given it to the Lord, you must trust that His word is true. He said he sent His Word and healed you (past tense). We only have to believe, accept and trust that it will manifest. If you feel that you don't have the faith to continue to believe for healing, then see a doctor. God gave them the knowledge and wisdom to aid in the healing process. I love you, brother, and I believe you're being attacked in all areas because you are trying to be free. Please don't give up. Satan has no good things for any of us, so please don't allow him any room to destroy you. Know that God has wonderful things in store for you. He loves you just as much as He loves his Son, Jesus. I will continue to pray for your physical healing as well as for your emotional and spiritual healing. Delaine :bighug:
