if I had any sin in my life, God won't love me, so therefore I HAD to stop doing what I was doing before He would love me and bless me... Reading that scripture changed my life. Actually the entire book of Galations made a huge impact on me. Galations 3:3 says "Are ye so foolish?, having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?" This scripture opened my eyes to the fact that I began my Christian life through the spirit and there is nothing "fleshly" I can do to be made perfect. I depended on the power of the Holy Spirit through FAITH to save me, so I have to depend on the power of the Holy Spirit to keep me and perfect me to be just like Christ. Just walk in the spirit and stay Christ-centered and Christ-focused!

Galatians 5:16 (AMP) But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God). I SPEAK this scripture EVERYTIME I feel myself desiring to go back to a lot of the things I struggled with. I can understand you when it comes to men...I've been there as well. You will have to do what I did...shut "it" down CLINK, CLINK!!!!!!

I can sense that your main corcern is if I am aproving that she has sex without been married and if that's the case my answer is that I cannot judge anybody...that's something between she and God. I think this is a problem for many. If we are followers of Christ, it is our responsibility to speak the Word concerning ALL things. We are going to be held accountable BY GOD for not opening our mouths and telling people the truth about what He says in His word. If we don't tell them, the world is going to tell them something and that something is going to lead them straight to hell. It's not judging, because just as you said only God can do that. But it is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ as He instructed us to do before He ascended to heaven. I'll say it, with all due respect...Sex before marriage is called fornication and it is a sin.

I just purchased a voice recorder a couple of weeks ago that has about 6 different folders in it. I can record up to 99 messages/dreams on it. I have a computer connection that allows me to download them and make cd's! Then of course, I can delete everything off of my recorder whenever I want to. I got it from Office Depot for $39.99.

My mom called and said Jacob is doing better. He is no longer on the ventilator. They have tubes in him suctioning the loose bowels and everything. They won't be able to operate until they get it under control but they are very,very hopeful. Thanks for your continued prayer and I will continue to update you as I get information.

I "third" what Cholette says! I'm already not a big reader and the KJV used to make me not want to read all the more because for the life of me I just could not understand it. I even told God I didn't understand it. Actually, I wrote a poem about because my heart was longing to read. I read a NLT and I was like WOW! I bought one and that's how I started off. I read from the NLT, the Amplified, The Message, and the KJV...all because like Cholette said...whichever one drives it home for me. We can't forget that the Holy Spirit is the TEACHER and is the ONLY one that can lead us into all truth. Trust in the Holy Spirit in whichever version you choose because "the letter killeth, but the spirit brings life"

Hello fellow prayer warriors! Please keep the 12 year old son of a classmate of mine in your prayers. His name is Jacob. He and his 15 year old brother, Forrest, were hunting (I don't think they were without adult supervision) and Forrest accidentally shot Jacob. They were airlifting him to one of the hospitals in Northern Alabama, but they had to make a stop at another hospital along the way to stabilize him. His bowels are all torn up and that is prohibiting them from operating on him right now. Keep his mother, Renee, and his father, Tate, in your prayers as well. Forrest is really taking it hard. They need our prayers. Thank you! Below is an update I copied from the "Prayer for Jacob Ray and Family" group about his condition. There are spaces between the posts. It doesn't give a date and time of the entries. It seems like they work bottom up with the most current being first... they took the vent, awake, hugging, thirsty, hungry, won't let him have water yet....God is Good We give all the credit to You Jacob is doing so much better he is hugging family they are going to take off vent, close him up where they had left open, as he is healing, he has along road ahead with more repair surg down the road Thank you to everyone for your prayers he continues to need them but Prayers are answered and they are miracles Than...k you Lord for prayers answered..we give all the credit to the Lord Jacob is still in Your Hands Jacob is going to be alright; Doctors just came out andtold them that the kidney and the aorta was just knicked and the bowel duct wasn't as bad as thought. He is gonna be Alright they said. God is good all the time God is good He and his family still need our prayers...he has a way to go but he is strong and he is in Gods' Hands UPDATE on JACOB he is now at Children's Hosp in Birm'h....He was stable....but am getting news that may be problems...they are takin him back to surgery, his vitals don't look good....everyone is up there and more on the way. Please everyone...PRAY...will keep updated....GOD IS IN CONTROL Jacob has been moved from pedicatric ICU into ICU, he is still improving,thirsty, they are feeding with tube a little...to see how it is tolerated...he wants to know who is writing on his wall...we appreciate all the prayers and post...Prayers are answered, continue to pray he has a way to go but we are so thankful for The Lord has done for Jacob....God is in Control , Thank you JESUS!

Father, I thank you for little Isaiah. I lift him up to you oh, God, for "He shall be wonderful". I ask thy will be done in his life. God send the angel of healing you have charge over his life to rest upon him. I speak life into his body right now. Saturate him with your healing virtue from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. Cause every artery, every tissue, every blood vessel, every organ, and every muscle in his body to line up with your word and function the way you created them to function. I thank you that his recovery will spring forth speedily right now in the name of Jesus! Comfort and encourage his parents. Give them a refreshing of strength. Cause them to bind together in unity and on one accord, and begin to speak your word over their son. I thank you God that you have the last say so. Oh, God...I thank you! Do what you do, God, in the name of Jesus! Get your glory, God! Reveal yourself in this situation right now in the name of Jesus! Hey, God! Thank you, Jesus!

I believe we give the devil too much credit. See, the enemy can't do anything without God's permission. I believe God allows things to happen and come upon us to test our faith to Him and draw us closer to Him. The enemy uses those same test to, yes, tempt us to sin and give up. The armor of God is there to protect us from what the enemy tries to throw our way during those times of testing. If you break the entire armor of God down, you will see that each piece reflects the Word. Actually, I'm doing a study on it that I will post when it's done. We have to be fully dressed. We can't go into battle half-dressed! What about when God said, "This sickness is not unto death but for the glory of God"? I want to go a little further but I can't right now. I just wanted to add my Psalms 119:71 "It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn my statutes." Do you think our statutes could be known if God doesn't allow these periods of testing? He already knows what He's put in us and how much we can take (if we trust in Him). You are so right, Cholette. The book of Galatians helped me recognize that I was no longer bound by the desires of my flesh and I didn't have "to do" anything to make God love me. It's a given! You and RnestseekR have really been in the Word with yall posts about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the direction we need. We need to be directed straight to the word of God!

No, that doesn't sound right! We sing it too. We had Praise & Worship practice Monday night and learned we had been singing one of our songs wrong as well but we were singing it the way we had been taught to sing it without listening to it. We were saying, "Oh, the glory, of your presence. We your children (says temple in the song) give you reference. So arise from your rest (says in your rest), and be blessed, by our praise. As we glory, in your embrace. As your presence, now fills this place." We all caught it while listening to it, though. But it helps when you have someone with an "ear" to hear.

For me it was the total opposite. It took FOREVER for me to finally stop smoking cigarettes. Now, it seemed I was delivered from drinking and drugs (marijuana) like overnight. I went to bed high and woke up without a desire or taste for it...I just didn't want it. I never thought about it the way RnestseekR brought it out but it makes sense.

I didn't mention it, Dove, but this was an uncommon favor that WAS right on time. I had a $300 unauthorized transaction made against my checking account that I didn't have in the bank. I have overdraft protection that covered it but it put my account in the negative. When my payroll check was deposited in my account, the bank got there's off the top, leaving me with a little over half of my check. I didn't have anything. I didn't even have enough to pay my tithes. But look at God! He gave me more than what I lost, PLUS, He's going to make those people put my money back into my account!!!!!!!!

I thought about this after I posted the other one... My youngest son's father was laid off from his job last month. I wasn't expecting a child support check this month. BUUUUUUUUUUT, I got one in the mail yesterday!

Many of you have read my testimony concerning my car catching on fire last month. Well, my insurance company wrote it off as a total loss. They gave me almost TWICE as much as the Kelley Blue Book Value for it! However, it was still about $300 less than what the payoff was for it (so I thought). I was contacted by my finance company on Wednesday of this week asking me if my mailing address was still the same because they had to cut me a check due to overpayment from the insurance claim!!!!!!!!! I was FLOORED! She told me they only cut checks on Wednesday so it would be next week before she could cut it. She said she would see what she could do to get it sooner but it may be next week. She contacted me again YESTERDAY and told me the check was ready! Ain't God good?! Now who wouldn't serve a God like my God?!!!!!!!!
