I'm getting ready to read the biography of the Monkees by Eric Lekowitz.

There's a new pet style game on the horizon. It's called Pet City, and to be honest I think it's going to be a lot more fun than Petville. If anyone is playing, let us know, maybe we can get some new neighbor circles started.

I am going through my friend list on Facebook again and doing some trimming. A lot of the people who I play other games with have been ignorming neighbor requests and such, so I need to remove them from the list. If, in the process of doing this, you get removed from my friend list (and Tiddly Winks' neighbor list) then please let me know here that I have accidentally deleted you. It was not my intention to remove forum buddies with this, but have so many neighbors on happy Pets and Petville and I would like to have a little bit of organization.

I love the orange colors and the greens and even the really bright pink from last week. I am so glad they are getting away from baby pink, but I noticed that lately some of the stuff was very dark. This week's stuff is great, it goes with other decorations from past weeks.

I remember those days all too well. Sadly during the summer months, there will be no sewing and no choir, so I'm going to look into getting a cat.

I finished the rooms for Xavier, and now I am going to write some...I need to look for our apartment lease so I can see if we are even allowed to have a cat here. I think we are, since there are so many cats and dogs in this area, and many live in the neighboring building, which is owned by the same company.

I just finished decorating my room in PS, and now I'm going to do Xavier's room and then get busy with some writing that I have been so blatantly putting off...then I have some stuff that needs doing before we go to the animal shelter tomorrow and see if the kitty I want is still there. Her name is Nele and she's a beautiful kitty. Hopefully her purrsonality (hehe) is compatable with us.

They patched it. The glitch had been available for about 12 hours. Then they put the game into maintenance and patched it. It was the daily special item. Now they have the pink petling biscuits for 3 CCs.

I didn't level up, but my husband did. He went from level 32 to level 34. That was a very sweet deal.

Glitch has been patched. Tiddly Winks had over 80 of these bundles, which she recycled all but ten. If anyone is interested in having one, let me know. These cannot be sold, but they can be gifted and recycled.

I love this week's theme. I really enjoyed decorating, and yeah, it's really nice to step away from the darkness and come into the brightness that is evident this week.

My experiences with copyright are rather extensive, for the simple fact that I deal with it every time I write a lyric set. Yes, the stuff is quite similar is true, but seeing as they don't call the items by the names 'Mrs. Potts', 'Chip', 'Gaston' and so on sort of indicates that the game items are not 'the very same' as in the films. If they called them all by those names, then yes, there would be copyright infringements going on and Disney would probably react accordingly. Since these are multimillion dollar corporations and not private indivuals, they may be doing a 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' thing. That is, when these themes come out, people who play these games may or may not have the DVDs for said movies yet...so if they don't and they feel inspired, they may actually go out and buy them. It may also be that Playfish / EA got permission from Disney to use their films as themes back when they first started using their films as themes. After all, they already have done 'The Little Mermaid', 'Pirates of the Carribean', and now 'Beauty and the Beast'. If there were issues, then I think Disney would have said something ages ago. In end effect, perhaps they are benefitting from this far more than Playfish / EA. All the same, Disney may hold some rather strong copyrights, but they do not own the concept of 'Beauty and the Beast'. They obviously know that, and maybe that's the deciding factor. Of course, they do own 'PoC', so it may be that they have been made aware of it and are using the game for free advertising.

This is going to totally rock. Love it all. Can't wait to dress Sven's pet as Gaston...he goes around singing that song constantly.

Thought I would share my latest teddy bear with you. He's designed after my favorite Monkee, Peter Tork. And the day of my 40.5 birthday. The dress is hard to see, but it turned out wonderfully.

I think that the Mayor and Hideeni are roomies. Case in point.

I get that a lot lately, and with the rapid weather changes, comes the migraines. Last Saturday I was laid up and miserable. When the weather changes, then I tend to feel rather yucky.
