  1. I actually don't care about the card because I usually prefer my collection loose. But here in Canada (well in the province of Quebec), we never see any short cards. Those I have were sent to me by fellow collectors. And I do send the ripped cards to recycling, as well as the blister!!
  2. MSN: isabelle.gonthier@sympatico.ca Yahoo: mariejuliette@yahoo.com But I'm never on Yahoo....Mostly on MSN
  3. Thanks AD!!!! Unfortunatly, I'm not a customizer but I did read about tips. Here's a link I found: http://www.hotworldcustoms.com/blister.htm With pics to help you. The person doesn't use acetone but I think you can use acetone if the feature product is not available where you are.
  4. Dumb question of the day: what's a D.I.Y. ?? I'm French-speaking and I don't know that acronym!! As for acetone or nail polish remover (make sure it contains acetone, some don't!!), if I remember, you need to soak it...I'll have to check out again Joe's diecast shack...I'm sure the info is there........
  5. No because you apply the acetone on the back of the card. It will only desolve the glue. I got that tip from a customizer who uses that method of opening in order to re-seal the customs in their original blister. But you still have to go carefully, using cotton swab (aka Q-tips).
  6. Bon Voyage et Bonne Chance!!! Good luck and have a great trip! I also have a cousin from the US who's gone in Australia for a student exchange. The good thing, you'll still be able to visit us here!! LOL
  7. You can use acetone behing the cardboard, like nail polish remover with acetone. The glue between the blister and the cardboard will disolve and you'll have the car without any rips. And you can use white glue that dries colorless to put the blister back on the card.
  8. Thanks, I still have to add the gold one. I have to do a major clean up of the cabinet. Seems like I'm also collecting dust!! LOL
