they are limiting the amount of coins you can earn in one day to 25 thousand. Either by visits, brushing or reselling to the store. But as I've said previously 25K is a lot of coins daily

We can't ....but eventually Playfish will as it will cost them real money this time. I for one won;t buy anymore coins until it is sorted ..though unfortunately I did buy some just a few days ago before all this kicked off!!

Sweetie if you leave now then the hackers have won ....just play the game your own way ...you can still earn 25k a day which is a lot of coins. Stick to this forum ...stay away from TOF for a while and wait for things to blow over ...but don't leave because of this.

You can now see everybody else's diary ..to see what cooking level they are, how many paw points they have etc.

I can't find anything yet on gifting being limited ....and its not confirmed that the daily coin limit is 25k but that appears to be the figure being bandied about. 25k is a lot of coins to earn in one day and IMO I think they are just trying to stop the hackers from selling all their illegal items for coins and then proceeding to buy genuine items to sell on with the coins. I for one need some more (official) information on this update,but as usual Playfish are saying nothing !

this is an old thread posted originally in November last year. I am locking it for now and if the trader comes back and wants it unlocking then all she has to do is contact any mod.

I totally agree. I think we should just carry on in our little group as we always would have done. Just be aware of people trying to come in and sell hacked items ..but forewarned is forearmed ... I too have foxes ..all got from playfish when I bought cash coins, but never thought of selling them ...though I have gifted several in the past.

Well said sweetie ....and don't feel bad about buying coins ...as the game will go on regardless, just as it did after the last big hack. I also bought some earlier this week, before this came out, but if I needed then would still have bought them now. I gift items because I want to ...just getting a thank you note back and knowing how much it means to some people make it all worthwhile for me. I hate being bracketed in the 'hackers' group just because I like to gift items just because I can ...not to get things back. We will just carry on within our own little group for now ...I for one won't stop gifting ....that is the only thing that would totally kill the game for me ...if they stopped being able to send gifts ...

Today the sun was shining so I decided to do a bit of spring cleaning. I've managed to do all 4 bedrooms ..including stripping beds, vacuuming and turning matresses etc ...So now I am shattered but have very clean and tidy bedrooms

There are a lot of people in this forum, myself included, who give unconditionally. I have never and will never hack anything. We regularly run Wish Upon a Star events when people also give freely and generously ...I don't think you can tar everybody that wants to help others with the title of a hacker ...

I quite agree and unfortunately I have just purchased more in the past few days. But the few of us on forums (inc Playfish) are a drop in the ocean of all players in the game, so I don't really think that this gesture would have much effect in the long run. Playfish will still come out on top

I've just been over there having a look around. There is certainly more items on the market, but they are still not that cheap ...last time there was a big hack out (around Oct i think) items started going for next to nothing ....will keep an eye on it though
