  1. You can get endless, no riveting, or specified length which will need riveting and are by far the most popular now. With the endless you will have to drop the swinger which is a pain. Riveting can be a daughnting thing if you ain't done it befor but with a riveter it's easy, It can be done without a rivitor, which I do but needs to be done right and can be overdone and the link will lock up or worst....
  2. Good result Dave, no matter what Redcar put it up at you got cash in hand and that's all that matters and some bods gonna get a great Bandit.
  3. Same here, hate the rain, don't mind cold but won't go out if its wet, fingers toes and everything else crossed for a good summer this year,
  4. Either both polished or polished forks and black swinger, either look good.
  5. Erm, might give that one a miss.... Over to you Stue,
  6. Could do with a few protests like that over here against us getting shafted by the gov. And retailers on the price of petrol, just wait till the 3 p a litre tax gets banged on..
  7. It's the tempering colours caused by the heat on the single skinned stainless pipes, it's actualy a good indicator of how the motor is running, as it's an indication of how hot the pot is running, ie too hot, it's running lean, not good. Straw is normal, with a bit of blue near the ex port but if one or more pot goes extended blue or worst purple I would check the mixture and maybe check for air leaks on that pot.
  8. I've had a fair few and always seems to be the rears, had em plugged and lasted the life of the tyre.

  14. Had a real gud time down the Raven, some fantastic bikes, and gud to see Mack Hanson and Helen Hanson, Beezer and Russ. Was certainly ready for a cuppa to warm up and of course the half hour wait for the full English. Luved the two strokes that we're there, sounded great with the spannys on, reminiscent of a misspent youth, lol. A few pics to follow when Mills allows me to get on my PC,
  15. I had a spell where I got a couple of nails so had the tyre plugged properly and it was gud to go, I carry a repair kit under the seat and I would use it as a tempory repair only to get me home.
