  5. What about getting the givi monoplate, then the rack and box? that way you can take the rack/box off and leave the plate ( which is like having a rentec rack? ) or dont they do them anymore?

  8. I'll see mate lol, camp sites wont allow people in after a certain time, and if i can't get the day off i cant come till the sat, which might not be worth while from here but as Stu said, one half way will deffo be worth sorting out next year
  9. sort one out and i'll join ya on the ace lol
  10. Yeah they are heavy, but most tourers are, ( 290ish KG ) but if i can manage one then i can't see anyone else having a problem lol. The 2011 are smooth as hell with the shaft drive, power delivery is also smooth ( and plenty of it!! at around 140BHP and 134Nm Torque ) Anywhoo!! some good tents out there for not so much money. Try and go for a 3 man tent for 2 people as it gives you that extra bit of room to cram bike gear in. Can't remember the make i've got but its a 3 man tent and you can fit 2 of them in a 2 helmet top box
  11. i only do it on mountain roads where you can see for miles and theres no hidden turnings or white lines or traffic Fair enough if you can see a long way, but there is too many people doing on really twisty roads were you can't see round. Few times i've seen someone doing it and i've cringed in my helmet lol
  12. aahhahahahahahahahahahahahaa oh shit soz! chad you make me laugh Coming back from Studley last Sunday, touched me knee down on one roundabout i love lol ( near Bikers world, Daventry ) Not something i try to do as its too easy to bin a bike! sort of thing for track and not road
  13. go for a couple year old FJR, hold there money and are brilliant all rounders ST1300 is another but too big and bulky if your only going to use it every now and again
  14. and thats the same reason why i wont go in the other lane even if it seems clear ahead.. 1 mistake, 1 car pulling out of a turning and ya f**ked.
  15. you wait, next dave will be buying a goldwing
  16. doesn't hurt to be a few under/over. Its only a guide line, but that doesn't mean a 500 mile service at 1,000 miles or a 3,000 at 5,000 if you know what i mean lol
  17. one thing i don't get is why do you go over to the other side of the road...
  18. theres no way on earth someone would have the balls to joke about that.. its like putting the Nazi symbol on a German game..
  19. i love the fact that they managed to cock up the darn flags before the olympics had started!! North and South Korea ffs not like the flags are similar!!
  20. the 650 is a brilliant all round bike, the 1000cc even better ( basically the sv in a touring style )
  21. Rofl wasn't expecting that gotta admit though, the bandit is more impractical
