Are we fed up of the Charities or the way they are advertised? On the flip side my daughter has just done a bungee jump for the Great North Air Ambulance and raised £500 There are some worthy causes out there I think it just depends on how the money is distributed and to WHO it goes to but couldn't agree more with Gaz about the way some of these charities use emotional blackmail to get money shouldn't be allowed

My daughter has 4 now, seriously how many guitars do you musicians need? hope Santa delivers Dick I don't really need anything.....a fancy phone would be quite nice but I'd only lose it or break it just a couple of relaxing days will do, hope everyone gets what they want, even if they have to buy it themselves! -

Word of warning Dave me and Skelly have done the west coast of Scotland a couple of times and the scenery is stunning. 200 miles a day is do-able and the roads are fantastic ( I have never been on better!) but it can go by in a blur and you can miss a lot if you try and get the miles in. We decided to do less miles and just enjoy the views, but whatever you do take a spare battery for the camera m8 and hopefully a couple of us could join you for a day or two!

Loose fairing sorted
gravelrash replied to gravelrash's topic in Advice on Repairing and maintaining your bike
Don't know Garry but I'd happily pay a little more for powder coating and stainless nuts and bolts! Hammerite is what I used Dick, did the full bracket in the end. Would of been surprised for you to have found rust on the Ace Dick its immaculate! Suppose like you and Skelly when I find something I like better to replace it, it'll do for now mate, but I'm not going in a bike dealership with either of you two! Always good to get the bike's clothes off every now and again Mike and give a good clean, hope the bike is fettled soon, although no hurry its freezing out there! -

been pulling the front of the bike apart today to sort an annoying loose fairing, while it was apart I found a lot of surface rust on the fairing bracket so that was rust protected and painted I thought the wobble was a worn bush in the top mount but it turned out the bottom mounting bolt was loose and just needed tightening up so it was all stripped for nothing really but at least the rust is sorted, and no more loose fairing!
