I live not far from Jct 26. If your taking that route beware of the average speed cameras all down Western Blvd and Middleton Blvd and as you get to the hospital plod has a speed trap there almost daily. This is the route I'm taking from Jct 27 as I'm only 5 mins away from it. It goes near Nottm but only skirts the city http://goo.gl/maps/49uYY But if you are arriving around 4pm onwards then your route is probably the best to avoid the rush hour -

I dont mind either Dave. Went to the site today and for the amount of heavy rain we have had it still looks good (well drained). The staff were about as helpful as a chocolate teapot though. I nearly asked them if they knew anyone on site with a brain cell !!! -

Thats why I always have my visor down. Imagine that hitting you in the eye. Cant understand why people still do it. And to ride with a flip front raised is illegal evidently! -
I agree. Strange it was a Volvo as it seems all the biker jokes years ago were about Volvo drivers. Even MCN had a cartoon about the driver from the planet OVLOV Glad you are both ok! -

From what I understand the track has been there for 50 years and it will mean the loss of nearly 150 jobs. I agree with Stue and others, fill it with chavs and pikeys
