  1. A great man sadly missed His memorial ride is taking place tonight on the IOM
  2. These pics are not taken by me but taken from the CMC website as I realise that not every forum member is on Facebook where most are posted. Will look out for future postings.
  3. Log on to CMC Chesterfield website and view lots more over the coming week http://www.cmcbikes.com/ At the moment its a vid of 2 stroke Sunday
  4. For those not on Facebook I went to this on Sunday. If you log on to CMC Chesterfield during this week there are loads more pics
  5. Had my Hyperpro lowering spring on for nearly three years now. Absolutely ace bit of kit. Bike still handles fine and Ive even toured fully loaded two up and barely had to adjust shock tension. Never bottomed out. Well chuffed. You should be fine Dave.
  6. Hope my middle names don't become R and G crash test dummy
  7. I can download my trips from my satellite tracker and save them to a file so I've got a record of my journeys.
  8. I have to say I seriously hope there are no more members
  9. Had a ride out to Ladybower Reservoir yesterday. Stopped in a little car park on the way. turning round with full lock and it just went. Managed to hold it for a bit but eventually it won and trapped my leg underneath. Tried to pick it up as people just stood there watching. Bloke pulled off the main road when he saw me and gave me a hand. Bought him a cuppa as a thank you. All I can say is 'thank you R and G' not a mark on the bike and it didnt even take the writing off the crash bung. One lucky bunny. You learn from your mistakes they say. Should have got off and turned it round as it was a tight space. Still no one was hurt. Ive joined the club
  10. Lot of excellent work there. Well done
  11. Davehutch & mel smilinjack (rideout only) Dick Grumpyowl (rideout only Mark. Mike (Gravelrash) Oldfart (Den) Camp and rideout
  12. Put a 30mm lowering spring on my Trumpet. Worked straight out the box so to speak. Didnt even have to compensate for two up touring apart from stiffening the adjuster a tad. Well chuffed with it. I dont ride fast enough at my age to worry about steering response due to slight change of geometry but my son tried it and said he couldnt really notice any change.
  13. http://calsport.co.uk/products/categories/suspension-and-handling/hyperpro-shocks-and-springs/SP-SU13-SSB003
  14. I had a seat reshaped to lower the height but the problem is that if the pegs are not also lowered your knees are more bent. Gets a bit uncomfortable on long journeys.
