  1. As Dave will no doubt also mention, we were spotting the likes of McPint, Dunlop, Conor and the like just wandering around the paddock area chatting to anyone. Dave got his picture with McPint. I sat down and had a coffee with him. We watched Michael Dunlop on Friday night talking to a little girl and next minute he gives her his sponsors shirt. Its the stuff memories are made of
  2. I'm here but I've been away on my annual sabbatical. To the Isle of Man TT!!
  3. I'm taking my cameras as well so we should bring something back
  4. 43 year old Japanese racer Chad. Part of the Tyco Suzuki TT team. Lot of experience especially endurance racing. Sad loss Yoshi San. RIP Race In Peace
  5. RIP -Race In Peace DJ. Had the priviledge of being on his memorial ride. Remember hearing that when the car with DJ's parents in it was 13 miles out the last bike in the ride passed the start finish line. Respect !!! Always stop for a moment to pay my respects where he lost his life
  6. They used to have a Grunty Fen in Cambridgeshire but changed it to Red Fen
  7. They wanted to charge my mate £84 for one nights camping. Not many people paid it.
  8. Sincere condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. Know how you feel. Lost my mum dad and wife in the space of two years. Just remember the good times you had.
  9. Quote 'Sorry Stan I don't understand this post ' I can also understand your concern Stan but I cant remember seeing any posts that have been offensive (we have two good moderators). I have been fortunate to meet Dave and his good lady Mel, been on ride outs, trips etc and count them as friends. As has been said its all light banter. This is a great site with a good social atmosphere (and we even get a camp and a Christmas get together!) Long may it continue. (not a rant just an observation )
  10. A little boy was sitting on the footpath with a bottle of turpentine. He was shaking it up and watching all the bubbles. A Priest came along and asked the little boy what he had. The little boy said, 'This is the most powerful liquid in the world; it's called Turpentine.' The Priest said, 'No, the most powerful liquid in the world is Holy Water. If you rub it on a pregnant woman's belly, she'll pass a healthy baby.' The little boy replied, 'If you rub turpentine on a cat's arse, he'll pass a Harley Davidson !'
  11. Glad it went well. Super pics. Got hail down here today
  12. I think in the majority of cases the answer was in the riders right hand
  13. http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/191020/1/crutchlow_i_could_be_replaced_by_espargaro.html?utm_source=feedly I know its only speculation and take it with a pinch of salt. I gonna make my own predictions for the future of Moto GP and SBK 1. More Spanish riders taking Moto GP rides and the rest demoted to CRT or second rate teams 2. SBK to BT Sport as Dorna gets greedy 3. Britain to gradually lose all Moto GP and SBK events so the series becomes resident in the Rest of Europe or America 4. Pol Espagaro to take Rossi's or Dani's ride, Smith out at the end of his contract and Pols brother Aleix to get a vacant factory/satellite seat. Didnt like Stoner as a person but he saw the writing on the wall and predicted the Dorna dirty tricks brigade. Wouldnt surprise me if VR didnt jack at the end of his contract and go and race or rally cars
  14. Saw this in ASDA and thought for £3 I'd try it. Absorbent towel to dry the bike. Amazed how good it is. Miles better than an expensive chamois leather. Its also washable. Measures 2ft x 2' 6" (sorry guys but I still like Imperial) Going to get another for the car
  15. There were some lovely custom painted Triumphs but they surrounded them with other bikes so you couldnt get a pic of them.
  16. Brilliant job. Look forward to seeing it in 'the flesh'
  17. Noticed its on Duke Video Dave. They have a shop behind the Grandstand/pit area at the TT as they are IOM based
  18. Just done the 24k service on my Triumph. Two new tyres as well. All ready for the TT. Just got to run the tyres in first.
  19. I fancy it Dave but there's also a massive shindig on at CMC as well. I fancy the Stratstone one though. Depends on the weather but I think its set to be ok
