That kind of thing always puts a bit of a dampener on things. I know we get our fatalities and injuries here in the UK, but that does seem a bit excessive! Is it just because you have so many more bikes out on your roads do you think? -
Would you buy used? I've been keeping half an eye out for some new boots as well. Alpinestars often come up on Evilbay at decent prices. Might be worth a lookee. Only thing that puts me off is the sizing. You can't try before you buy! -

Tell me about it. I've just bought a new bike, I need to run it in and it hasn't hardly stopped raining since I bought it!! So frustrating!

This morning the sun is shining, but for how long, no clue, so I took my bike out for a quick run. I'm still running it in and need to get to 500 miles before I can take it in for it's first service and then ride it a bit harder. Done 415 miles so far, so getting there. Gave it it's first wash and I have to say it's a lot easier to wash than my Harley was!! -
