  1. "I've got a beautiful blue one thanks I think she's gorgeous, some might think she's not that pretty, but I have the satisfaction of knowing she'll never be as Ugly as a Burger King." I can't believe you said that. Suppose all riders of "jelly moulds" need glasses Old and Disgraceful
  2. Ditto on Dave and Mel being great folk, but banter is banter and in moderation and with respect is good social lubrication......I also have a B-king so take the piss out of me instead all you want Old and Disgraceful
  3. Use the pea shooter Dave and you wont be riding the king for a while and only see Mel once a fortnight when she comes to visit Old and Disgraceful
  4. I'll have the plugs they take out as they will be in perfect condition, having not needed being changed. Also most unlikely throttle bodies will be out of synch' or throttle position sensor out, unless you have erratic or fast/slow tickover - things you can easily check yourself, seeing as you have the service manual. Check all the lube points as even super duper dealers like Redcar often miss something. Old and Disgraceful
  5. Second draft of possible route - 147 miles with pub lunch at:- http://www.henandchicken.co.uk/ http://goo.gl/maps/FzFIk Old and Disgraceful
  6. They won't do anything you, Dave, can't do yourself. And knowing you, if you do it yourself it will be done meticulously by the book and for only the price of the consumables (£60ish) whilst you get to know your bike even better Old and Disgraceful
  7. I'm planning a ride out some time over the bank holiday weekend - about 170miles starting and finishing in Salisbury. Probably be on the Sunday - anyone fancy coming along Old and Disgraceful
  8. Checked the odo after the bank hol weekend....... Up to 1st April - ZERO MILES 2nd April to 6th May - 2052miles Another new tyre soon then Old and Disgraceful
  9. Some of the show bikes.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/brianfreke/sets/72157633431410971/ Old and Disgraceful
  10. £5750 for an ancient Bolleaux to nostalgia, the World's gone MAD - again Old and Disgraceful
  11. Try a tin of Hammerite and a nice coarse brush Seriously mate, I personally know how frustrated you get when a lot of work in a spray job does wrong. Old and Disgraceful
  12. I've been asked to put "Howling Wolf" in the show on Sunday so will be there. Anyone fancy coming to Paignton for a cracking day of bikes, bands and realted mayhem with lots of trade stalls etc? Proceeds to "Bikers Make A Difference" which is a charity which gives help wherever it's needed in the local area. http://www.bmad.co.uk/festival.html Old and Disgraceful
  13. I'll be riding to Sennapod.....and doing a few 9sec runs Old and Disgraceful
  14. Lincolnshire is well to the east. Northants is central. Old and Disgraceful
  15. Leominster and Stratford are way north and east so how about SouthWest here in Devon Old and Disgraceful
  16. The wife used to call my willy "Thud". She's now started calling it "Barclaycard" - my flexible friend that I keep close at hand Old and Disgraceful
  17. I've now polished the bike FIVE times to get it as shiny as Dave's will be Old and Disgraceful
  18. After the lunch stop in Bickleigh I will split us into two groups; one lot taking the short route back to the hotel and the others who haven't got such numb bums doing 90ish miles over Dartmoor. Hang about, that info's in the post Dave copied above Old and Disgraceful
  19. They've got to take all day as Dave is on a BLUE one, which as any fule knose is the slowest colour option. The blue ones have even more retardent applied at the factory than the silver ones. It's only the ones that come with all black paint that have the extra dilithium warp factor applied, which can only be enhanced by the judicious application of go faster gold (not to be confused with the ORANGE weheels on the blue ones) Old and Disgraceful
  20. Well I agree, the B-king is an ugly bike......if that's what you think. However my B-King has always drawn admiring glances and positive comments whenever and wherever I've parked up - never had anyone call it ugly to my face, or even in my hearing. Are all those people mistaken, are they intimidated by my macho presence, or is MCN out of touch (again)???? Old and Disgraceful
  21. Whatever happens, Scott is definitely top quality and deserves all our proud support Old and Disgraceful
  22. Valentino who Never heard of him - looks like he might possibly be an up and coming star of the future once he's had a few more seasons practice to hone his skills and get his act together Old and Disgraceful
  23. I'm still stuck with BBC coverage - the red button lottery....."MotoGP has been cancelled. We are now showing underwater tiiddlywinks which we are sure more people will want to see" I want cable in our remote village, and I want it NOW Old and Disgraceful
