He sure is, Cholette. We have had so little rain where I live its the reason for the brush fire. We've had a day or so of rain per month for like the last six months, AND THAT IS IT. So, God tells me to pray about a hedge of protection. Then, the fire hits. Then, two days later a front capable of producing tornadoes, pounding rains, hail, and winds all around us is supposed to take two full days to come through and does; tornado warnings everywhere; and everywhere above us and below us is getting pounded by storms. My dad keeps showing me the storm on radar as it is coming through and it's covering the entire central part of Florida where we live. It looks like we are going to get hammered. I'm thinking about the tornado warnings and the winds that come from these storms because the last time my vegetable plants took a beating, and then God reminds me that I had a dream I'm going to have bountiful sweet pepper harvest - which is His waying of saying there won't even be enough wind from these storms to damage your tender pepper plants - which tend to snap easily. And, so I go back to bed (sick with the flu) and don't worry one bit. When it was over, we only had enough rain from these massive storms to put out the brush fire entirely and water our grass and gardens (which grew like six inches in two days to boot). My dad says, 'Wow. Everywhere around us is getting pounded and its like we've got something protecting us.' I told him about my dream about praying for a hedge of protection and then I said, 'Not something, Dad. We've got Someone.' GOD is TRULY amazing. Thank YOU!

It looks like it's out! Sorry for not getting back. I got a horrible stomach flu that night and was down for a couple of days.

The important part was that God said that He wanted you to know how much He cared, so He was going to show you by someone treating you within the week. I was really moved how God wanted you to be delighted with something delightful, regardless of your circumstances, just because He loves you. That was truly one of my favorite prophetic moments. PS. You really doubted it? Was it farfetched or unusual?

Ty! I'm hoping that the storm coming through today puts it out. Now we can pray about the tornadoes.

It's funny but the other night I woke up from a dream that I should pray for a hedge of protection. I told it to the intercessors at church on Sunday. Well, I have a forest fire a couple of miles from my house and I TRULY SERIOUSLY need a hedge of protection. There are hot ashes falling in my driveway. Please pray.

I agree. Am praying and thanking God that He is great at mending broken hearts, broken relationships, and broken people. Thank you Father that you are even now doing a work in this family and doing it supernaturally.

You also said you are stronghold and a very present help in trouble And this is yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord We remember your promise you gave us to Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed ; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. We remind you when you said Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. and even yet again you spoke to us and said I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Lord we trust in your word and your Love..we agree with Mia on this matter in prayer. We Thank You that we can do ALL things through Christ (your word) which strengtheneth us! Thank You for covering your maidservant, and letting all these things work for the good of Mia because she loves you and is the called according to your purpose....Thank You providing every need that she has through your riches, and glory in Christ, and grant her the wisdom of God as she casts her cares on you so she won't carry the pressure of the load, but carry it for her Amen!

It's a shame. It looked like it could have been good if they stuck to the truth.

I didn't read all the other posts so I apologize if this has been said but I just want to add two things. 1.) Is it okay if your daughter stays back until she is learning at a comfortable rate? Kids don't all progress at the same rates, especially if they've had a tough start. Sometimes we need to purposely expect less than we feel we should. There is a quote that goes, When I am at worst I need your love the most. This is probably not exact but if she is struggling where she is maybe she is just not ready in spite of her age, grade, etc. 2.) If I were you I would absolutely get involved in a church no matter how short your time there is. Just sayin' Love ya lady! Let me know if you need anything. Lord, you said pray short and simply. Please empower Daisy to do all she has on her plate. Please make manifest the words Jesus said Matthew 11:28-30 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Please make this manifest in Daisy's life now, Father. In Jesus Name.

I watched about three minutes of it. The very beginning of the show they completely changed the way Lot and Abraham parted and I changed the channel. I cannot watch something that is fact and have the facts changed to suit the movie. I don't enjoy it being angry at my television so I changed the channel because I figured if they couldn't get through the first three minutes without completely deviating from the facts the rest of it wasn't going to be much better and there was no way I was going to sacrifice that much time to something that was going irritate me week after week.
